total abandonment. gradually over the years losing all my friends and family, becoming a hairy old recluse that nobody bothers with. i find i draw strength from the people in my life and to lose them would simply be soul destroying.

and something that is a little more childish. spiders scare the b'jesus outa me. snakes, lizards, sharks, bats anything else im okay with but spiders freak me out. not the little ones, i dont mind them but the big uns that scamper about at the speed of light and jump faster than sonic on acid. worse thing is that the back of my garden is overrun with spiders about the size of your big toe, in all dimensions. *shudder* i remember that one of em lived in my room a few years ago. every nite i could hear it scuttling about under my bed. actually hear it!!! then one morning i woke up, pulled my jeans on only to have it run out of the pocket and up my arm. i feel shame in admitting i screamed like a little girl http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/blush.gif. the little blighter escaped too, and i spent the next few nites without proper sleep.

and to make matters worse i found a giant assed web in my room today. unless spiderman has dropped in im sure ive got another giant hairy 8 legged vistor. thankfully its not a crippling fear like agrophopia or something like that.

Now for something a bit different. I think I am afraid of not being funny anymore. The thought of that sucks. At my work, I am known as the crazy counselor that's always got something funny to kick into the conversation. With my friends, I can't help but join in with the jokes. If I lost my sense of humor, I'd be quite frightened.

Heights. I cant stand them. I remember i got taken to this castle on the top of a cliff when i was younger and i literally went white on the way up these massive steep steps. Ive also been stuck on rock climbing walls more then twice through fear of letting go. Way to go cub scouts/school trips for making me do that.

Im also not to happy about deep water. Its like heights, but its wetter on the way down.

i love heights! i get a real buzz of been up high. only thing would scare me would be standing at the very edge of a cliff with water thrashing about down below and the wind blowing violently. kinda like that guinness advert were the dude swims to the US.

i used to be terrified of deep water myself. when i was 5 i nearly drowned. now you can barely keep me out of it.

Yep, Florida definitly has its spooks.

I remember when I was younger I always feared that a Hurricane would come up in the night and smite us all. Then I learned that didn't happen so I started fearing water spouts (tornados on the ocean for those who don't know). Didn't help when two came up while I was swimming, it was almost like something from twister.

Sharks, ugh, sharks. Does not help when your surfing and a fisher reels in a huge shark that was right next to you. AGH!!! Then theres those things that brush up against you and you don't know what it was! (I'm not scared of deep water, just whats in them) Open Water will kill me...

Jesus telling me no, which is the worst thing I can think of.

Thousand leggers(or whatever they are called) - Silverfish? Those small but long critters that move fast and have lots of legs. Regular Centipedes and millipedes I have no issue with...Weird.
