Anyway, does anyone else happen to like this Scottish rock band? Their new CD, Franz Ferdinand http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif, is really awesome and is just packed with excellent music.

I keep finding myself humming/singing the songs as I go throug the day...

I would watch it... but it requires to install a video plugin, unsigned, from AOL... I dont trust AOL at all.

I absolutely hate this band. I'm not normally one for pop music, but occasionally there is a good band. This is certainly not that good band. Mediocre music, boring lyrics and rhythms.

Note: This is an opinion.

They seem to be yet another faceless band cashing in on the nation-wide spread of "quirky, indie rock, with pop-sensibilities" appeal. I'll pass on this stuff, but if you like it, more power to you.

Its an okay album, it has some catchy times, etc. Its nothing groundbreaking. Still nice to listen to on a car ride, but not too often.

i love The Dark Of the Matinee and Truck Stop(Auf Achse)
their music videos are very weird but the Take me out video rules

They're not that bad. The single isn't anything special compared to most pop music, the album as a while is pretty good. And I'm telling you, nowadays it's always nice to find an album that is not only popular, but good as a whole.

If you like the Strokes, White Stripes, or any of the "indie" bands that have spawned from them, you'll probably enjoy it.

As for Franz Ferdinand "Take me Out" is their best song.

Same here. The video for "Take Me Out" makes...no sense. The video Primeval linked me 2 made more sense then theirs does. I just dont like their sound...

Personally, the main reason I like the video is becuase it's so damn abstract. XD
