Cool. I got 1 more question:

The synchro on an equipped mag decreses 5% each time you quit. Will that happen if the mag is at maximum level?

If yes, is there a way to bring it back up?

You can reach level 200 with the mag, but he still will lose the synchro. The best way to not lose synchro is that old method of unequipping the mag and store it in the bank before you leave. Works everytime http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Ugh...so Im pretty much screwed. Why does the synchro go down anyway? Oh well..back to storage it goes...

You can get the mag's sync back up if you feed it the right thing. Usually Trimates/fluids, Moon/Sol atomizers and Star Atomizers will work. Stars ALWAYS work. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I know that, but would it work if the Mag is at L.200?

Why does the synchro go down anyway?

I read on a FAQ somewhere something like this: "Your mag is sad because you are leaving..." so it seems if you keep him in the bank, he won't see you leaving.

....

nevermind.

i have a question what is the I.Q. of a mag for?

They must have changed this for the PAL version...I'm sure my MAG's synchro is 120% when I start the game...I'll have to check.

BTW, my level 200 Rati is kept happy by Dimates. Three Dimates after I die and it's happy again XD.

And I beleive th I.Q of a Mag determines what things it is capable of doing. For example with an IQ of 0 it won't heal you, revive you and probably won't use Shifta/Deband on you.

The higher the IQ, the smarter the MAG, the more it'll do for you.

I think >.<

Synchro affects how quickly your PB gauge fills up. IQ affects how powerful it's photon blasts are.

You can find feeding charts and other really good Mag resources here:

Just a note, Synchro doesn't go down when you quit, well not for me. It goes down when you die or feed it something that makes Synchro go down. I never put my mag in the bank when I quit, and Synchro is still 120 when I get back on.

The level 200 mags the OP is talking about, are from PSO V2, Tweengo. You probably are playing PSO on a Gamecube. Maybe that has to do with it? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Same here, so that's probably the reason.

A bit off topic, but I just noted`this is a very old topic <_< Is it all the rage now to post in four-year old threads? o.o
