He is probably doing the connery did when he was holding out for more money. they made one bond film without him with lanzby and it was not the same. So then connery came back and did another for more money. Brosnan is probably doing the same thing. then agian he has been bond since the early 90's

Anyways... the best Bonds (in my opinion) r Connery and Brosnan (hope I spelled them right...). Roger Moore was ok... only good one he did was Moonraker (that I liked atleast). I wanna buy that DVD 3 Volume set of all the 007's... but then again I wanna buy the 2 volume set of Aqua Teen... and I want to buy lots of music cd's... rrr, I need more money. Oh well, maybe the new Bond could be ... nah what am I saying, I have no idea. Guess we'll find out soon enough eh?

I gotta say, my first Bond movie was with Brosnan and watching someone else play Bond on that big screen will seem strange. Out of the candidates, I am undicided.

Heh, Mathew Perry and Bond? I gotta say that would rather suck. Perry is best at comedy, not serious action flicks. Heh, I wonder how many of you said Perry sucks just because you disliked Friends...

just to clear things up, there were 5 different bonds, and only two of which were good(yes roger moore sucked).



Speculation surrounds Brits Clive Owen, Ioan Gruffudd, Colin Firth, Hugh Grant, Gerard Butler, Jude Law and Ewan McGregor, as well as Aussies Hugh Jackman, Heath Ledger and Eric Bana.



i really couldnt see any of these guys as he next bond, especially heath or hugh. these are troubling times for the true bond fan, especially if if there trying to have a release date for next year.

Seriously, they should just revamp the whole damn thing. We know we have better technology than what they show. I dont know, its somewhat backwards in time stuck in present showing off futuristic possibilities. I still say the new Bond should be a woman. And get with the times already, we have bigger fish to worry about than the Great Motherland.

Some recent speculation to who will be the next Bond is an actor called James Purefoy. He's been in 'Resident Evil' and 'A Knights Tale', and more importantly, he comes from my home town! Taunton, Somerset. Oh i would love to see a Bond with a Somerset accent. Too bad most of this speculation is from the local papers and comes from the fact that Mr Purefoy went for the role when Goldeneye was about to be filmed.

I say find an unknown English actor to play Bond. I feel that we dont need some other big named actor to feel the role.

honestly last i heard russell crowe was the most likely to be the next bond. out of all the candidates mentioned here i think he'd be the most suitable.

though i remember hearing james nesbitt was begin considered. god of all the shitty choices.

and years ago after he released that music video (you know that one where he dressed like bond) , robbey williams was in the running. again horrible horrible horrible.

whoever it will be has big shoes to fill. old pierce is one of the best bonds.
