With my brother now
We are very connected
So why did we split?

I got this idea while suffering through an Addicting Food run earlier this morning. Any comments?

nice one,
maybe work in the agony and pain the remaining one feels when the other one dies T_T

I like it. Your haiku adds a satisfying depth to what would be just another PSO enemy. Cool.

They split so I don't have to use techniques on them, duh. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Thanks, let's see if I can whip up something like that...*clears throat*

My closest friend, dead
I saw him take his last breath
I cry out in grief.

108, eh? o_O I'm a bit too busy with my regular fic, but I suppose I can periodically make some haiku based on PSO monsters, or maybe even Mags or weapons or something...

Here's another, this one on...Al Rappy! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

A chubby blue bird
falls from the heights of heaven
Will it drop red box?

I haven't seen an Al Rappy in a long time. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

Here's one for the Garanz, even though I'm not Eihwaz, but it is haiku!

Hulking behemoth
Firing missiles at hunters
Not an easy kill

EDIT: One for the Rati:

Graceful and awesome
Helps master in time of need
with stats and techniques

Er, the second line only has 6 syllables, it's supposed to have 7. >_>; Easily fixed, though, just change "Fires" to "Firing".

Oops. Didn't count. But hey, it's summer. Anyway, I edited my Garanz haiku post to accomodate a Rati haiku.

Ooh, nice Rati haiku. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_yes.gif

Lemme try one...

Elegant robot wings
gliding along silently
bobbing up and down

Rati translates so well to poetry. <3

Hey, Eihwaz, maybe we could make that 108 PSO haiku collection a joint effort. And, thanks for the compliment.

The Dragon:

Firey breath and sharp
claws and horn make the Dragon
a sight to behold

But it is not what
it seems to be, as the beast
is fatal and kills

Ooh, a double haiku. Good one, me!

My first PSO haiku, dedicated the the Sinows from the Mines.

robot assassins
stalking in the shadows
ninjas of the mines

Secondly, a haiku of our favorite mid-boss from CCA: Mountain Area,,,

A big gorilla,
The true king of the apes
It is a Gibbles.

How'd I do?

while i say that these are good, that's not really saying much

Haiku is to short, and to simple, to really seem to deserve much credit (IMO) Now maybe several versus of Haiku, just maybe. But just one is just, well, dull, dumb, and boring (IMO)

thats the essence of haiku - a very small, abstract work, no much words and yet they're only good when they can trigger some emotions in the reader.

I got bored http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif.

Floating gently here
Undisturbed it bobs away
Luminesce, beauty

Referring to those jellyfish things in Caves 2.

Whoa, good job. That could easily apply to real life jelly fish. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

People who enjoyed my haiku, please, read my fic! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif
