Whats w/ all the hacks?

Ok ive seen a lot of People talking about all sorts of hacks like 127%+ weapons and duping and a whole lots of other stuff. How is it that people find these on the internet? I mean I thought noone wanted to cheat anymore for this game. I shouldnt say that just the other day i saw a code to make you character go up from level 1 to 147 and 175 just by killing a booma. BTW if i decided to test that out on a character and it worked does that make me non-legit? Sorry if all of these are dumb questions but seeing as how i am always busy i rarely have time for games anymore.

Only if he uses that character. If he keeps it to himself, or deletes it, he can still be legit.
