Crimson Assassin = Smoking Plate

Ok, Smoking Plate has been on my list of rare hunts since I first created my FOnewm, l)emonic. He is Purplenum and they drop off of Crimson Assassin for that ID.

Well, here's my question; Is there any certain Quest (Preferably offline) with a ton of Crimson Assassins? I'd like to know the best quest to hunt for Crimson Assassin drops both online and offline. The drop rate for the Smoking Plate is around 1/1800 and I want to find it as quickly as possible. I've been doing Addicting Food runs in search of it, but really want to know if there's a quicker way.

Please don't just link me to the site guides. I have looked at them already and want actual responses from the people here. Also, have any of you found a Smoking Plate? If so, off of what section ID?

You sound just like me not too long ago. Addicting Food runs are perfect for you!!! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif Your FOnewm is probably leveling up fast as hell (i'm assuiming) by doing Addicting Food runs. Make sure to go through all of Caves 1 and then through the first room of Caves 2 (another 2 crimsons in there, I believe). At that point, it's more convinient to quit and restart the quest. If you get lucky, you might even get a fluke Psycho Wand from a random Mil.

Trust me, you will have the Smoking Plate in no time (by which I mean a couple of weeks http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif). I went for the Purplenum plate after my Yellowboze just refused to drop it from Merlans (whose drop rate is shit when compared to that beautiful Crimson Assasin). I can think of a faster method than Purplenum; and that would be Redria. But I only suggest that if and only if your good with death gunners and are a high enough level to get you through ruins at extremely fast speeds with a Redria character.

Thanks Rico, I'll do just that. I'll continue my hunt for the Smoking Plate doing Addicting Food runs while I also level him up even more.

l)emonic is currently lvl 94 and he owns almost everything in the caves offline in a few Rafoie blasts. Heh, maybe I'll get lucky and even find a Pyscho Wand like you mentioned.

I got my Smoking Plate off of Purplenum as well, however I wear one of the DF field's I have found cause I like it a bit better.
