Contrary to what it may seem, this is a happy rant!
Mitch left for home from college in May, and its been like 3 months since I've last heard from him... and hell, it seems like 3 months since anyone last heard from him.
Yesterday alone I had two people ask me what is up with him, and all I can say is a dumbfounded, "I really don't know." Thoughts abound from him not coming back this fall to who knows what, to him being too busy or too good for us and shit like that.
So, once again I'm working at the DQ and a semi-regular pulls though. Her name is Amber if I'm correct, and she graduated with my sister (who is four years older then me.) So, I take her money and wait on another order, when I hear her say, "Oh yeah, Mitch told me to say hi to you."
I heard the name while taking the order and was in disbelief. I motioned for her to wait (well, she didn't have her food but still), so I finished taking the order and said, "Who?"
And so it seems that she just went down there to see Heidi, his girlfriend so to speak (don't know the latest news about that whole ordeal), and that he works from 8-8 six days a week and that she barely saw him, but he told her to tell me "Hi" and that he'll be seeing me in a couple weeks since he's coming back for college.

I'm in such a good mood now. Makes me feel somewhat neat knowing that I sent him emails throughout the summer, and though I got no response back from any of them... that he did indeed get them, or that he didn't forget about me!
