Sato Color Change?

Question about Sato's. The guides say it's color can change, but don't explain any further. A quick google search didn't find anything either.
I was hoping the moment a mag would evolve into a Sato, it's color would change according to the evolver's outfit color.
But I tried, no luck.
Maybe I misunderstood all this stuff about color changes. Is there really a way to do it?

The color of a Mag is always the same (unless it hasn't been saved yet, meaning if you get the wrong Mag color on a new charater's Mag, just reset the game).

The guide means that Sato has the biggest difference in colors when it comes to Rare/Special Mags.

This is not the first time it has been asked. I think the guide should be re-worded.

Yes, I think so too in that case. It should say differences or something, instead.

(Damnit, so now the mags are worthless. Maybe I can make something nice of em, and make new mags to be Sato's.)
