Wrong item acquired in Soul of Blacksmith

I got the blue mineral on cave floor 3, (along with the other items.)and I got a Storm Cannon. I AM possitive I was on Ultimate. Can anyone possibly explain that??

You can only get the rare once per character.

You can only get the good weps once, then you will get crap like your cannon.
You can get one god hand (or sting tip or suppr.gun) per character.(3 chars in ult if you want the 3 weps)

You don't get the sting tip. You get the Technical Crozier in Soul of the Blacksmith.

maybe u picked up the other materials also and when the dude asked for the best material u found u gave him the wrong one?

When you are collecting the last mineral, if you pick up a different one, it will just replace the one that you have. You don't have to tell him what mineral you choose, he uses the last mineral that you picked up.

technical crozier(pinkal easy find)suppressed gun(can pipe)i say god hand, it's fast and an easy to use item, and pretty nice RA weapon, not in my opinion but hey thats just me!

God Hand = HU only.
Supressed Gun is the best overal item you can choose for that quest, its HU/RA/FO

And it's accuracy is great, it fires from a nice distance, and the animation is really fast. Great weap http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif, especially in normal / VH if your chara is on ult level.
