Would it be alright if I posted links to some slightly risque fanart, as long as I ONLY post a link and not the actual picture?

Actually I joined after him, but at least I have the repect to read the rules and not leave it up to everyone else to answer my questions for me... laziness!

read the fucking forum rules before you post, simple as that.

now, im sure there are plenty of other sites that would be glad to supply you with "risque" art.

Politely PM a mod and give them a link, asking them if the art is suitable for posting on the site.

If it isn't suitable, so be it. If it is, go nuts.

Does everyone think that risque means pornographic? I hope not, because it can simply be someone, not nude, bue CLOSE to it.

Dude..I wasn't asking for sites with naughty pictures, I was asking if I could post a link with pics that I drew, and the pics just happen to be a little naughty.

What Garanz2 said goes. PM a mod about it (in this case, dhylec, M.Blackhawk or Lolita) and ask for approval. If you get it, good. If you don't, well, too bad.

I do not think there is a need to psyche out and have fits over all of this.

PM ing the art to a mod to let the authorities decide is the best option. Why? Because as most artists know there are varying degrees of things that people find offensive. And also varying degrees of people to offend...

-Things considered 'risque' are not porn, as stated above. (there are even degrees of porn too)
-Naturally, most publicly available message boards have rules against posting porn for obvious reasons. It's supposed to be 'all ages' and it avoids pr0n spammers as well.
-However...what are the exact boundaries? A lot of times it takes a consultation to find out what's ok and what's not. For example, a picture of a naked woman sitting in the high grass, facing away. You can't see ANYthing private. Her rear is hidden in the grass, and she's facing away. All you see is a bare-back and the back of her head that anyone would see if she were wearing a dress with an open back and no straps. Is she naked? Yes. Is she porn? THAT is the question.

Personally, I would not consider that a pr0n art because there's nothing private in view. However...it is not up to me. And dependent on how your question goes, I am debating a "Risque Gallery of the Awesome" to follow up my "HushHush Gallery of the Awesome". Not all great art is rated Disney G.
