I've been roaming around lately, trying to get my internet set up again, and I was wondering about the population of PSO DreamCast. I was at my friend Victorious's place, and I was watching a game he was having, it seemd like a nightmare come true. He was playing with like, lvl 120 newbies. They showed no skill, and practically had no idea what they were doing. They were always getting lost on the map and going the wrong direction, and seperateing from the group. Gimme a break, if you're lvl 100 something you should know about teamwork. I'm just wondering if there are still any decent players out here. Gimme a post.

My LV93 legit RaMar walks into walls. *sob*

Outside a very select few, the online player base is *really* sad... In honesty, I too have only seen it from a friend's playing point of view and not first hand, but there are virtually no players that don't have at least one hacked up item, or level, or something. Best example: My friend gave a newbie a legal Inferno Bazooka for kicks after finding two in one run on the Vhard ruins.. the newbie, instead of gratefully accepting said "WTF?! THIS IS CRAP! 10% to dark? MY NEEDLE HAS 180!" (Unfortunately, that quote is paraphrased, I don't recall the exact one..)

To boot, upon calling the newbie a cheater, he *insisted* that he found it himself...

...In the forest... on, NORMAL. I somehow doubt this http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif And suddenly, the reason a level 1 newbie was doing so well in the forest, and able to hold a spread needle became apparent... this wasn't a newbie looking for equippment, this was a weenie code user that was even too lazy to make up weapons of his own, and was asking other code users to *give* them to him... that, or he lacked the intelligence to create items http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

That was the last day my friend ever played PSO online http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif It's also the day I decided I'll most likely never get a hunter's licence http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Oh, and, the newbie kept the bazooka http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I, Nightmare havent played PSO in months just for that reson. I can say i was one of the original PSO players backin the day but Im looking forward to the GC and X-box versions. Maybe I should renew my hunters licence and get alittle practice in with my LEGIT Lv.200 Humar Nightmare.

I am cat. I use claw weapons and can play through the maps using only one hand. Yeah, you know exactly what I mean; I use a HUnewearl while petting my COCKATIEL with my other hand.
I know when to or not to use support techniques, but my job at using resta isn't too good =3.

I became legit since v2 time, I was using my friend's cheated spread(with no %ages -_-;) in v1. then i realize finding things is slightly easier in v2, i stopped asking for my friends' weapon..... >_<
o yea Im surely talented, I got killed in Dark Falz in normal, and I am a lv60ish HUnewearl.... -_-; well, i was lvling a few newbie friends who r lv 8 ish XD
It's hard to have teamwork online, all ppl do is spread spread spread, then force char will just stand still and watch the needles flying everywhere, and before their razonde zap a single enemy.... i usually ask my friends to play in no spread game.....

Well, I have some experience. How much is something only the others can tell me. I'd like to play with experienced but honorable players once i get a new modem.

I was legit, until i sold my DC, I am nothing now! I wish I was something...but anyway, back in the "Glory Days" I was a very good RAmar, had good equipment and was a good teamplayer. I never really did C-Mode or Battle mode I thought they were kinda pointless...or could it have been the fact that I suck at both? Yes, that was it.

But back to your question, there are good players out there, and I think some of the hackers have lost interest.

If I can get my DC to play online, then I'd be kicking ass with you guys. As for teamwork, I make a GREAT ally. If anyone is in a jam, I'd be there for back-up.

basically my stats are the following:

Im a L.116 HUmar. I am 100% Legit in PSO. Im very good at short range combat. I am also good a healing/support.

Oh, this is actually about skill? I mistook it for a "whine about the cheaters" thread http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I am unable to play online, but I have a level 94 RAmar, and a level 56 force. Not overly impressive, but I've just gotten back into the game. No Cmode (poor deprived me!), no battle mode, no fancy quests, just the ultimate mines and the Vhard forest for me http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif Both characters are 100% legal, of course. Cheating sucks http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I have talent, and I'm legit. But, I really sux at Battle. I never won 1st place... too many un-legit players -_- I sux at Challenge Mode too because I had just very little experience with it (only played it couple of times and failed).

Herm... I was a level 120 "n00b" when i got to help some "experienced" lvl 160s to get through ruins because they kept getting lost and paralyzed and DEAD yes dead http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif
