Tattoos

So for the past few years I've been really interested in body modification(tattoos, piercings and the like). Last year I got my first tattoo. I got it on my right calf so I was unable to see the process in the making. I'm still pleased beyond doubt with my tattoo, but I wish I could've seen it done. So, since last year I've been trying to hook my friends up with places to get tattoos and we've been looking around. Recently we found a place that I along with the others like alot. I have heard nothing but good reviews from this place, and I have seen well over $3000 in work on one of my acquaintances through music. All of his work was done by the owner of the shop. So last night, my friend and I take a ride up their and wanted to talk to an artist about pricing and ideas. My friend brought up a design he'd been working on for months now, and the guy touched it up for him and sized it and basically just gave him all the advice a few newcomers needed. Because of his help, my friend set up an appointment tonight to get it done. Finally I get to see what it looks like so I can fully enjoy the experience. The only thing that sucks about going with him to see it, is that I want to finish my leg in the same fashion of my current piece.

Does anyone else here have tattoos or is anyone interested in it?

Go there to see my current tattoo. I plan on going from my ankle to my kneecap all the way around my right leg with Muppets. Kind of an homage to my childhood.

I have large tattoos, down center of spine, right bicep and left inside wrist. At one point I had had tons of piercings but I decided one day I was getting irritated with maintenence (cleaning jewelry etc)... Up until recently I hadn't had any piercings left, so I decided to re-open my 2 labrette's while driving on the freeway. (went and bought sealed hoops, looked at them, and said... fuck it, and jammed it back through my lip while driving, it actually didn't hurt reopening it)..

anyhow.. someone else might have thought it would hurt.... who knows.

I've designed a few tattoos for friends but I still haven't gotten one on my body. I plan too but I want one with a lot of meaning, not just cuz I thought it looked cool. So I still wait until I find something just right.

Ive had sunburn that hurts worse than my tattoo. I have a dragon/phoenix combo on my back. Just the outline tho, need to get it shaded and detailed, not getting color, would be too much

Ive got three so far. A tiger on my left bicep, chinese on my right shoulder, and chinese on my right shoulder down tomy right bicep. Dont know if ill be getting anymore. Either another tiger or dragon maybe...
