To Hell with School!!!!!

Honestly What the Hell!? Yay, I finally got my grades for freshmen year. Turns out I failed almost ALL my classes. Whoopy Dee Fucking Doo. Why I failed? I have no Frickin' Idea. Considering all year i had a B+ (or better) in all my classes except Algebra...( I can understand if I failed that). But the thing is, I did all my work, I studied, and studied and asked for help from everyone: Students, friends, teachers, parents. etc, etc.

So I thought I'd Ace Freshmen year, with the exceptiong of Math.

(if you have Mrs. Tibias, you are going to fail no matter how smart you are.)

I see my grades: No A's, No B's A C or two the rest: D's and F's. What. The. Fuck. My French teacher Mrs. Thompsom, is very forgetful and misplaces things often. *Causing me and countless other students to make up tests or homework again* So when they school told me i would have to re-due half of Second Semiester over. *I had a bad illlness so I couldn't go to school*

I Flipped out, telling them that I had done the work, took my final for French and i have no reason to take it ALL over again. I told them that the teacher most likely misplaced the work.

Modern World Civ. and World Geography, Both classes I excelled in; both classes I had the most fun in. Both classes I failed. What. The. Fuck. I have no idea why, considering I had memorized praticall all previous questions on tests that semiester and knew that the vast majority would be on the Final. But yet, I failed, for some ungodly reason.

English. Holy. Fuck. By far, my best class, always participated, always showed the other kids how fuckin' stupid they were with the dam repeated every fuckin' day. Best in my class, but I only scraped with a C-. What. The. Fuck.

Math. Mrs. Tibias my teacher, thats my excuse.

Biology: What. The. Hell. Favorite class, second best in. A all school year, great teacher, helped alot and stuck with me to get me to pass the tests. He even let me take them home the study for the Final. I go, pass the final because all the questions on it were the same questions on the other tests that i had passed with flying colors.

I scraped by with a C-. Honestly. What. The. Hell. I used to think Carroll was such a great school. But now that I failed with no fucking reason, and considering the office staff really never liked me. *Because i missed so much to do my illness, and my mom going to defend me* I think they just wanted to screw with my life and give me shitty grades.

So why did I fail? I have no fuckin' Idea.

Yes, this does sound like some sort of error. Go talk to someone at your school about it. And for the future, always talk to your teachers every once in a while to see how your doing. Who knows, maybe you really, truly did fuck up on your own (which isn't very likely from what you've told us) and only thought you were doing good. You might end up annoying them with constant request to know your grade (or an approximation of it), but it will probably avoid future incidents such as this.

It's complete and utter bullshit, high school is - but it's not your fucking world. You need to learn to play the game and jump through hoops if you expect to succeed in this day and age. I've met SOOOO many people who blame the schools, they blame the teachers, they blame all of the "white" tests - it's complete, fucking bullshit. 99 times out of 100 the people fail to EVER blame themselves for THEIR actions, when, truthfully, it's THEIR goddamn fault. Learn to play the game... or drop out - nobody else fucking cares... do you?

Math is the only subject i blame myself for failing, honestly i hate math, never been good at it, and the teacher is a bitch making it harder to learn. The other classes were not my fault at all. Because i was passing them all year and I know so.

I know exactly what you had to go through but in my algebra class we had a psycho 200 year old teacher and the only people that passed from her class were me and two others.(She got mad at me and cried in front of the class because I said jokingly that i'm a pimp and that i wanted to be in a porn magazine)I, personally think that when you get in high school, grades are determined by whos mom is in PTA and favortism. Okay, if they messed up your grades in one class, I'd believe you. But there is no way they are going to mess up your grades in all your classes. You claim that you get A's and B's on assignments all the time. So why the hell would you need help just to pass an exam? You should be able to pass it without any studying, and get and A or B easily with some studying. It just doesn't seem possible that it just so happens every single class messed your grades up, and even though you were getting A's and B's all year long, you ended up with lower grades. Did you really go through and look at ALL your assignments? Are they really all A's and B's? If so, then maybe you have a case. But from experience, I highly doubt that every one of your teachers messed up your grades and ended up failing you when you should've had an A. Teachers aren't robots. They know their students. You say you participate a lot in English class. Okay, then more than likely your teacher should know you. If what you say about your grades are true, when that teacher goes to give the school your final grade, and see's it's a C-, he or she will realize there's something wrong. Anyway, I suggest you go back and look through all your assignments because chances are, you messed up.

That could be great advice. It could also be what led to him failing in the first place, if you want to put that advice in the form of video games.

All you need to do is go to each teacher that you think gave you a wrong grade and ask them to show you what you missed, or what caused your grade to drop. Not like they are going to turn you down on that, and then you can understand why.

You have to figure out what it is that you are not understanding or else the same thing could happen again, grades can get errors but you have to be willing to keep checking on the teacher and realize that it could be their fault but in many cases you could be missing or doing worse than you had expected.

It isn't going to depend on what teachers give you as a grade like they have much say in it, it is going to depend on the criteria that they use for grading. If the teacher sucks at least find out how they grade and what is going on, don't just blow it off. You always have the right to understand why you got the grade that you did, so approach them and find out.

I try to as well. I cannot tell you how many times a teacher has said (OMG, I'm using my real name on a forum, lol) "Nathan, you have a missing assignment"

she would never write down that you actually had it until she sat at her desk, and she never got me and some others recorded... so i had ALL THESE FUCKING ASSIGNMENTS, and my parents or anyone said it was my fault. and i had t oget 0s and Fs on them. What a fucking crock of shit.

Theres 2 problems with school OK so you go there to learn and shit ok fine but if they made the shit fun people wouldnt cut class and actually show up for once... if at the end of the week instead of giving you a fuckin test they would give you some free time and teachers werent a bunch of pussies saying "if your late 3 times to class (Keep in mind they call late as soon as the bell rings and your literally 2 seconds after that in the door your late) your absent" i mean wtf with mentality like that of course people will fuck up in school i sure did i dont know how the hell i got out but im lucky i did at the time i did because now a days its x10 worse then when i was in school... and the 2nd problem is give a fuck about the students... teachers sit there and dont even bother to teach anymore why? because they think "well the 3 black guys in the back will end up quittin halfway trhu the year and sell weed in the corner in their block, the 2 white guys will prolly end up killing someone and gettin locked up the 3 hoochie girls will end up being strippers and those 2 geeks will prolly make a cult and kill everyone" lmao im know im taking it a lil out of proportion but i met a teacher in my days that tough like that... and it discusted me because even do i did my work and I DID talk in class and i was loud and obnoxcious *spelling* at times i got my shit done... its bullshit

Maybe that was just my experience in school some other ppl have had different ones... hopefully good ones i know high school for me wasnt fun thats for sure.
