I try to make it good courtesy to not curse, so this is out of character.

FUCK BROOMOP. Fucking asshole just hacked into my web server, and all because I wasn't home to monitor it today. If he does it again I WILL take his scrawny punk ass to court and sue him for every FUCKING PENNY he has. What in God's name does he have against me and my team? Fuck it, im going to take a shower.

Dude, that's fucking lame.

Messing around in the game is one thing. It doesn't bother me too bad if he gets off on being skinned as a Game Master...crashing whole blocks is just fucking lame and annoying. Even if you don't lose any data, it's still fucking assholish.

But messing up someone's site just becuase it's for a legit team? He is a mega-luser. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

I dunno what to say, but if he fucks with it again, I would highly recommend taking legal action, making a good site like yours takes a lot of hard work.

Try to call Sega about it if you catch him again. They're chasing him around too. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

he told me that sega banned his isp's ip alltogether for his part meaning he would have to change providers before he gets back on. Not sure if it's true or not though.

As for what he did? Merely shut down port 80 access....since everything else was secure on my computer. I took some time out today to script a nice welcoming gift to the next idiot to try that to my server http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

... if this is fucking around with blue burst, he's been trying to do that since the beta.

Looks like he finally did it.

Your loss.

Broomop is a hacker that plays BB. He leads a hacking site/forum, and their ship is, you guessed it, Leo. Broomop's most recent hacks include being skinned as one of the Game Masters and the ability to crash any given block at any given time. T_T;

actually i think (ST) theyre trying to patch the bug.
even if hes crashing and etc. Its not as bad as GC and XBOX's FSOD becuase you dont lose anything at all.

They should have special Fbi teams for these people than just fidn out where they live and kill em in there sleep so it looks natural. I'm sick of these dick fucks that crash servers create spywear and virus and basiclally get pleasure from fucking about with others data/sites no matter how minor.

Hmm, when I logged on today, I got a new patch download. Perhaps ST is working fervently to lock out Broomop? I hope it's that, though it's probably a patch to fix a quest they fucked up. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

As a word of advice Aqua, you may think about backing up your site files on CD or DVD. For every professional site I do for a client, I create a hard backup that I keep in a safe place in case something happens. As I'm sure you are painfully aware, there are simply too many little wannabe hackers/phreakers/script kiddies out there trying to mess with people.

Anyway, sorry to hear that something like this has happened to you. Never underestimate the free time some of those people have when it comes to trying to ruin something you've made.

BTW I was referring to the message you have posted on your main page about the malicious virus attack.

Lastly, you may want to change your DNS registration info, so that it doesn't display your real name and address, although I will give you props for living on Blueberry Lane http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

BTW if someone is caught gaining unauthorized access to another machine, that is a federal offense and that person will end up in the United States District Court (appearing at their local division of course.) I can tell you for sure that the person's gear will be confiscated including any and all computer equipment, discs, computer related books, notebooks, software etc. Take it from someone who has been there and experienced it firsthand, its no picnic http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif But that was many years ago and I have since redeemed myself http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

FYI, 1 and 1 (http://order.1and1.com/xml/order/DomainRegistration;jsessionid=36FAB6FCCAAC837F46F5 92194BABB443.TC61a?__frame=_top) has cheaper domains than Sitelutions.

I also heard that a large portion of Europe can't play PSO BB becuase of the ISP bannage. Of course, that's just something he said on his site, that Antimony linked me to...he could just be trying to brag.

Heh, as for the virus attack I did back everything up on removable storage. I chose not to restore the site until I redesign a new layout etc., I have just been lazy about it. I had enough security that all he could do is temporarily disconnect the server. And next time will be even better (to those who know what im talking about http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif)
