Can anyone help? I got a new digicam, and I wanna take a video then flash some text up on screen at a certain time. Which program should I use to do this? Assuming I can that is. Drop me a PM if you can help or just post here. Cheers

There are a ton of software editting programs out. You can use anything from Adobe Primiere to Pinnacle Studio to Ulead's Moviefactory to Roxio's VideoWave, etc. However if you don't wish to purchase/pirate video editting software, you can always use the FREE Movie Maker software from Microsoft.

I personally prefer to use premiere, but don't be fooled into thinking that Microsoft's Movie Maker can't be any good. I've messed around with it and its actually an awesome program for people who don't want to shell out big bucks for other software. It will easily do what you want it to do and is capable of alot more.

Make sure you download the latest version of MOVIE MAKER 2 HERE (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=82887484-6f21-43e2-b4e2-051f72c11a77&DisplayLang=en).

You can get more information about Movie Maker 2 HERE. (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/moviemaker/default.mspx)

Just to add my two cents, using Windows Movie Maker 1 blows oatmeal. Don't use it, be sure to use V2!
