Okay, I am so sick and fucking tired of my little sister's computer exploits. T_T

First off, if you don't already know, my dad installed a computer timer. I get 2 hours a day, she gets 1. Now, the timer wasn't hard to stop (I can deactivate it easily in msconfig XD), so I can be on for much longer than I'm supposed to be. >_> Anyway, she is always bugging me for time. I usually always have a few things running, Firefox with a couple of tabs, Windows Media Player, AIM, etc. So yesterday, her annoying whining was breaking my concentration, so I exited out of all of my stuff, telling about 15 people that I will "be back later". She gets on, looks up an anime picture, then says I can have the computer back. WTF! >_<

Also, she downloads whatever her stupid little friends send to her. Oh, free dolphin screensaver that is laggy, fucks up the computer, and loads us up with spyware? Stupid annoying toolbars for gods KNOW where...ARGH!

Oh, and when I logged in today, I loaded up my totally kick ass random playlist, WHEN IT SHOWS THAT ALL THE MUSIC IS CORRUPT. I rush to My Music folder, and click on something. It won't play either. The error message basically said my autodriver was FUCKED OVER. At the suggestion of a friend, I downloaded and installed the latest Direct X, and also did a whole system scan with Norton.

Jesus Christ, when I move into a dorm someday, I am going to get a computer that isn't a piece of shit laptop, and spend hours doing stuff that is both enjoyable to me, and that doesn't fuck over the entire machine.

So, in closing:

Fuck you, timer, for making my life annoying.
Fuck you, sister, for downloading stupid shit.
And fuck you, again, sister, for fucking over windows media player.

T_T;

EDIT: Yay, I got WMP working again. n_n

Yes, kids tend to hit "Yes" or "Ok" on all message boxes they see. This weekend I had to fix my uncle's computer. Due to spyware (and a few other things, probably), as soon as windows background showed up, there was a BSOD after another until the computer stopped for good. Guess who did it.

Anyways, use Winamp. The old version 2.

The thing about those boxes is you have to hit the [X] to clse them, since hitting "no" is basically the same thing as hitting "yes."

Luckily for me, i have a mac http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/mac.gif, so that means I don't get most spyware. On the other hand, I also dont get a whole load of awesome games (it's a trade-off I guess http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif )

This is why I don't let little kids mess with my stuff. When my little cousins come over (who are all younger than your sister) I lock the door to my room and I shut the door to the computer room.

Yeah, I wish I could do that too. But Dad, in his assholishness, locked up our perfectly able DESKTOP, so the only computer for the whole family is this laptop. I don't know why I can't have this in my room, and he have the desktop set up for my sister and himself. T_T

Man, so that's why you're always leaving. = that really sucks. If you have a job or allowance, save up for your own computer. They're not even expensive. I got my complete dell system for $300. I may have a few expensive upgrades for it, but still, the basic system kicked ass.

Ya know, I'm really getting sick of people saying that. Lets see- Motherboard- Depending on what brand $25 - $250.
Processor- Again depends on brand and speed- $100 - $800.
Video card- $20 - $500.
Case- $50 - $250.
Sound Card- $50 - $200.
Power Supply- $25 - $100.

So, without some parts so far we are talking in the range of $1,075 - $2,000.

Top of the line my ass.

Well, it would be awesome to have my own computer, but dad would STILL put the timer on it. Besides, I probably wouldn't be able to get anything that great. >_>

Not only violence, but...torture, agonizing torture. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

Wazzy, You should have her watch/listen to something she hates the most for 2 whole days.

Of course restraints will be required. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

From my observations I find if you tie a noose, and suspend it from a light fitting, you can put the noose around the offenders neck, and as long as they are suspended in the air they find it quite hard to use a computer. Of course they can't breath either, but you can't have everything...
