Even after running both Spybot and Adaware twice each, I get the feeling there might still be some bad sutff on my computer. *points to the fact that IE always defualts to a porn directory*

Any way I can remedy this? -_-

Have you changed your default homepage to something other than the porn site?

If it actively changes it back to that porn site, you'll have to get something better to scan and clean files, since it's prolly a virus or infected file.

run your virus scanner to see if you have a trojan house. And like Abdur says try to change your homepage to see if that works because those two programs work fine for me. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_confused.gif

Go grab HijackThis! and kill the keys as well. And kill any startups that you don't recognize/ shouldn't be there.

When I clicked properties on IE, under the place where your homepage is, it was something like %HOMEPAGE%, not a web address...and when I put in http://www.google.com, it said it wasn't valid. >_<

So I suppose I'll do a quick virus scan, then try HijackThis!

Also try running CWSHredder (cool web search shredder.) Both CWSHredder and HiJack this do a good job of removing registry keys and infected files.

I just nuked everything. I hope that was the right thing to do. Now "My Stuff" folder is filed with backups. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif
