*looks in most recent EGM* Ah, its the developer. The game is reviewed for 3, 8.5's.

Yes, I know what Nippon Ichi is. :/ I don't a rat's ass about game reviewers. I like to make my own reviews because all their opinions contradict to mine. I am no FPS lover. I am a type of gamer who goes for RARE games.

I agree whole-heartedly about the game reviews nowadays. I remember quoting some review once and my older brother would not let me forget it.
I buy whatever games I want now, few and far between. I can tell the difference between utter crap and something I'd like to play on my own, thank you very much game reviewers.

Ever hear how great a game is to the reviewers, then pick up the release and play it to find it just "Meh. Whatever." or bland and unappealing to you?

It is also very hard to convince "average joe, only plays John Madden NFL, GTA gamer" to try something worthwhile in your opinion. My little brother understands this concept in relation to trying to show people the utter signifigance of Sega's Shenmue series. Even the obligatory "Do you know how much it cost to 'make' this game? Like $200 million!!" does nothing to peke(spelling off?, don't know the last time I used the word in this context) their interest.

Gargh. Sorry to start a rant here. I'm felling ranty-rant-moody.
