Ok this rant has 3 parts, 1 part good, 2 part bad.

the good: I did my GCSE's(the end of compulsory education for you americans) and got 5 A grades and 4 B's. Now I KNOW that isnt a bad score by any means, but im dissapointed

rant 1:
I didn't get an A* (highest grade) in science. That pisses me off big time. Especially considering I have been working at that level for nigh on 5 years and to not come away with an A* is frankly, gutting. Also, I put in more revision time for it than any other subject, and I was so sure of myself. Frankly, it just feels like a fucking waste of time.

Rant 2: This concerns people. Specifically the people who complain that im pissed off about my science grade. EVeryone keeps saying "stop moaning, you got a goddam A grade!" Fuck you. I didnt get what i expected, end of story. Why should I be happy on your terms and not mine? There is no difference between me complaining and someone else complaining if they are further down the grades and getting 1 less.

gah, im so tired, I just got back from reading festival and im dead on my feet so excuse any typos etc

If you're not happy with your grade, then I suppose you have the right...to complain.

So, those people should let you...but if they're trying to cheer you up, then that's a different story. In which case you should let it slip. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

meh, shit happens. maybe it was your confidence that made you get that B instead of an A. (you know, not questioning your answers when you should have)

other than that, get over it, you got an A, so be happy.

i didn't put in an awfully large amount of effort for the other subjects so Im alright with them, but for science, i did alot of work and it is my favourite subject. Makes me wonder why I bothered

it's ok to have high expectations of yourself. just don't become one of those fanatics that commits suicide from getting a B+ (this is NOT uncommon, I've heard of a lot of these stories).
