Okay, I'm still having problems with this fucking spyware and adware. I keep getting IE popups for like MP3 players, movie rentals, etc. I removed IE from the computer (not uninstalled, per se, I actually went into the remove Windows thingies, and removed it, I think), and I now get annoying error Messages over and over again, RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF EXCELLENT EDY CUP RUNS! >_<
So, any ideas on how to fix this shit? -_-

SO your having problems with spyware and pop-ups? Well, let me give you a website and a couple of good names of programs!
http://www.supernova.org
Search for Spyware Doctor for the spyware thing, and Mozilla Firefox for the pop-ups.

Go into all of your browsers and erase all your cookies. Then load up the browser you use the mmsot and configure the cookie seting to "prompt me for each cookie". This will open a message window that asks if you want to accept the site's cookie or not (this is extremely useful since often times eight or nine sites will try to cookie you in one page). I did this for my new comp and my system has been spyware and virus free for months.

I've already used both of those. x_x
And I USE Firefox as my browser. Cynric, I will try out your idea in just a moment, and I hope it works. But what about the IE error message I keep getting? -_-

Cynric, I followed your advice, and I then used HijackThis! as suggested by Kafka...and you know what? The popups seem to be gone! Yay!

Eihwaz, I'm about to strangle you. How many times have people suggested HijackThis to you and you never used it!?
