I start...have you ever spend 7 hrs looking for a rare from the Love Rappy on Ult only to find...PD's?

My friend was so happy when we found a Hildetorr in Forest. He relly wanted a Frozen shooter. But when we killed it the drop was a Scepter. He hates Hildetorrs since then.

I'm not even going to mention all the anguish I endured back on the DC. But I do have one question... My freinds all say that Luck increases your chance for a rare drop. Is this true? I always thought luck was just for critical hits. As a FOmar, critical hits don't do me a lot of good... even if I do sometimes play more like a hunter than a force.

Yea, Same here about the cane and ultimate... only just got here, and i'm only 89. I still have a problem in the forest when playing solo. But at least when i play multiplayer i can do a lot better.

I just use my h.bear cane for now.


But 8 Hildelt's and no god/battle... the count goes on.

Luck also affects the chance of your techs causing status ailments, and it decreases the chances of you recieving them from enemies.

I've been hunting a spreadneedle with my Purplenum RAmarl for quite a while now and all I've got to show for it so far is 30+ Mahus, 3 Guardiannas, 2 Delsaber's left arms and a PD from a Merlan that must've thought it would be a hoot to give me a heart attack... -_-

Well put that in your sig or something :/.

Soul of Steel is the only quest that happens to have a Baranz. It's also quick to get to I believe, so maybe you could give that a try? If this fails then the only other method is regular mine runs.

Ive had PD's from Vulmers, but they dropped a Chain Sawd after a bit anyway. My brother's Redria got a PD from a Tollaw when he was looking for a Red Saber. Since this is rare-o-holics, Im gonna complain that im findin too many Justy23ST/Dragon Slayers with my Skyly, yesterday in one mines run I got 4 justys and 2 dragon slayers, this game is cruel.

In the first 5 runs of my whitill in Ultimate Mines, I found 3 red boxes of a Sinow Blue. At first I dint know what a S-Blue would drop. I hated the P-drop, but after the 1st P-drop I went looking for what he actually can drop... Heaven Punisher. I have piped for a Frozen Shooter for my level 123 RAmar. Let me tell you. After 20 hours with not even a SINGLE HildaTorr you get pretty angrey. I have a 1/2 drop rate with him as he is a Greenill. Yet within my first hour the next day I find a Hildatorr that drops my Frozen Shooter. And I wasn't really looking...

Now I'm looking for the LAvis Cannon with Redria. 18 slimes now. Any tips?

It's amazing how well not looking for a rare works. I've done many ruins runs with my RAmarl seeking a Spreadneedle and had no luck so far.

Yet I found 2 Kasami Bracers with her in random Mines runs.

Go figure.

Yasminkov 7000V. It's actually a rare rifle that fires with the same animation of a rifle, but only has shot range (and also auto targets enemies like a shot would). It only fires at one enemy though so it's useful just for the looks since the Yasminkov 3000R blatantly pwns it (and is much more common) http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif.

Rifle class
Rifle animation
Shot range
Targets a single enemy

If you want a shotgun with rifle animation then why not get a Spread instead.
