Great, at this rate I'm gonna have a freakin' hurricane for my B-day party or whatnot.

This hurricane shizzle is starting to really annoy the crap outta me. F**K this noise, I need to move.

For once I'm glad to live in Michigan...

Man, the hurricane thing really sucks. It's amazing how many we've had in such a short period of time. The weather has been fucked up for quite so time now...I hope this isnt a permanent thing...

All the more reason to move back West As Soon As Possible. >_> And balls, they HAVE to make it look like we're gonna get the scraps again, don't they? XP The skies have cleared, the rain has stopped, but there's still no running water and we've still got the worst flooding this area has had in 30 year. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

You people down in Florida, what the HELL are you doing living there, anyway? @_@

heh, u beat me to the post. i just wanted to tell all my buddies that i play on gc with adios. Im in the florida keys "those little islands on the map" and i got the order to evacuate. Ill be online tonight to play for as long as i can. I just might not be online for awhile, due to the fact that this island is no longer and 1/2mile wide.. So if the path is accurate, then i might not have a house to come home to. I got the job of helping my neighbors tomorrow and packing all my sentimental stuff in my car. So i hope to see my friends on tonight. Ill try to post back as soon as i can and keep u guys up to date...

Because the calm after the storm makes the hardships all worthwhile. After all, what is life without the sour? It makes the sweet all the much more appreciated http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Yes, I agree. Though this heat was very annoying. >.<

*Remembers what was going on outside the window when it was still light outside*
Yeah, Frances is just finishing passing by, and we get some heavy gusts, higher than average sustained winds, and some downpours. Not that bad up here (until winter, but only inland is it supposed to be incredibly bad).

I feel sorry for all of those down in the areas that have been pounded by hurricane after hurricane. Good luck, and I hope you still have a house after this.

Heh, I was just a little bit PO'd that I went and sprayed weed killer right before the rain from Frances hit. Made me feel a bit stupid.

For some reason, I keep thinking that all these hurricanes make up a dramatic hurricane story... heh.

I hope you are safe, and hope there aren't anymore after this. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

I wish you safeness.

got this in email today...

Guesstimates by government officials now suggest "worse case" that Ivan may hit us as a Category 3 hurricane starting in force at 0500 Monday morning, September 13th with winds ranging in excess of 100 MPH. In this scenario, it would leave the area Tuesday morning. We may expect winds to begin to increase to 40+ MPH during Sunday.

I have been informed that there is no hotel room availability in the Southern Georgia area along the Florida border, that traffic is flowing adequately at this hour on major highways and that gasoline continues to be available.

One government official suggested that folks who plan to evacuative should begin to do so this afternoon and early on Saturday to avoid the obvious congestion that may occur. God speed and be safe.

meh

I'll still probably be putting up shutters http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Won't that be 3 Hurricanes that Florida has had to endure now?
It must suck to live there...

God bless England for its immensely boring and mediocre weather.

Yea, that's 3 hurricanes this season. Funny, they all seemed to come as soon as I moved to Florida... maybe I brought evil with me? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Hurricanes a definate problem to Floridians. Maybe now people may build with sense (I mean really, just too many "quick" houses have popped up, and thats balsa to a catagory 3). Its a problem we've had to deal with for a long time, but just think how rare this is. I mean, I prefer Hurricanes to tornados because you can see them coming (even though tornados do come from hurricanes!).

It is funny that two of the top three hurricanes ever has hit Florida (and other states)in one year. I feel much more sorry for the islands, though (like Burmuda) because they get the full force of the storm for a long time, and a lot of the time (most hurricanes weaken after a bit, which I hope happens to Ivan).

Enough of this buisness! Ivan the terrible indeed!
