Done, and up. It's about fifty-six megs in size, so thin band users, beware.

This episode deals with the VR Spaceship, among other things.

Well, that was fun to watch once. You obviously put a hell of alot of effort in synchronizing all those lyrics and such. Thanks for telling me my HUcast was out of camera range during the second half of the Saiffwin crystal ball scene. The soundtrack, of course, reeked of pure awesomeness. Well done.
*deletes movie that only needs to be watched once in order to understand and appreciate it*

This would be the first movie that's less about PSO, but just uses it as a roleplaying system isn't it? o:

I liked the Monkey Bar special thing too, never knew about that; but other parts were good too, like about Gol Bob dying, and the 90 hit Milla. "It's gotta be a Justy." http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

How did you get the idea to make this anyway? It was weird. On the other hand it was quite long, like Skorpius mentioned. It's not boring or anything; but it did get repetitive at times. (The same song 38045 times while you had enough footage already?)

I think it took really a lot of work to make this episode. Beside the corruption and the monster explanations, I would not call this a PSO tutorial anymore. But your movies never really were intended for that purpose anyway; and I don't think they should be.

I'm really looking forward to your next production. You would have near limitless options and subjects; and, with your talent, great potential.

I won't be in the lobby anymore as often as I used to be, so that'd be one less person to bother you.

Thank you. It really does take a while to get these clips to synch up with the track. I have heard before that a full day of work on a claymation movie will only add a few seconds of completion to the film. Never before have I understood that better than now, as it was taking me over two minutes to cut between one to two seconds of film in order to match up to the soundtrack. On top of that time, I had to reinsert the entire soundtrack for every cut I made.

Yes it is long, but it is only as long as an average half hour television program without commercial breaks. Since it was focusing on the spaceship, and there wasn't anything there people hadn't seen already, the episode needed a lot of padding to make it even watchable. I would like to remind you of the travesty that was episode 9.

This was something I was wanting to do for a while. Since we are getting closer to the Halloween season, I figured I would make it now, considering there will probably only be a few more episodes before this series wraps up.

I also felt it was getting repetative around the time where I had to use Principal Tyrell as an extra. Of course he couldn't talk to do the voice that was needed, so it ended up just being one fonewm singing, and NOBODY asking him, "What? Again! Louder!" That is probably the only scene I would have liked to have reshot. With few people online anymore though, it makes it exceedingly difficult to produce something of this nature. I didn't want many repeat performers, if any.

Thank you for the compliment, it means a lot.

Thank you for being around to help in a few of the scenes. It is hard enough getting people to admit to anything these days, and you just came right out and volunteered for a few of the difficult shots.

I try to keep the humour up in these, because nobody wants to be lectured at all (this is a point to somebody in particular that does this sort of thing). Unless there is something entertaining for them to be looking at, they are more than likely to just turn it off, and post some flame about how they were bored out of their minds or something. That's not really something I need to see at this time in my life.

Yeah, how about that? I was debating whether I should even put this in the episode or not. I had found it shortly before I had really begun to shoot this episode in a test run for what needed to be put on camera, as is noticeable by the color change back to my original shades, along with Dark Shadow, and Android 21. However, I needed about 59 seconds of padding in one scene that was originally just me and everybody behind me standing there doing nothing. The scene originally was going to be just that, with words falshing on the screen telling us to DO SOMETHING!

In the end, I think this was a better idea though. It gives a look at the spaceship, which is where the episode is meant to concentrate on, and it shows the enemy change from normal through very hard to ultimate setting. It also shows the best Greennill drop from the spaceship in Ultimate. Although, I really would have probably preferred to find a Greennill Card, since that's been the only reason I've even played in the Spaceship for almost a year now.

Thank you for the compliment VioletSkye. As I have mentioned to you before, it means a lot, coming from somebody who apparently does graphic work. I had wanted you to be in Episode 8 in an interview, but had decided that it was running long, and that another was not needed. Even though the second to last scene that you and everybody were in didn't turn out quite like I had hoped, it was still a good shot once we got Mathu to shut up and follow directions. Thank you for making yourself available for a few minutes.

I worked for several hours cutting the footage to pieces and stretching the pictures slightly hoping for a good scene on that. When I played it back though, it was lagging horribly from the many changes, and skipping entire seconds of playtime. Instead, I deleted the entire background, and just posted the people's pictures there with the tag that the stretching device was out of order.

For the hanging body scene, I knew I had to use something. Olga Flow falling out of the sky and telling us all that we had killed his goddess (which can be easily deciphered when the background music is turned off) was good enough. Even though it looked a bit stupid with him behind the pictures slashing at the players heads, I think it worked out just fine.

Yes, it did get repetative in a few parts. However, the amazement of everybody typing in unison was enough, I felt, to warrant it being prolonged for a bit, especially that scene with ADE, and InfamousThug. Also, since it was all coming from a soundtrack off of a CD, there was no way the program would allow me to cut it. While editing, I have to put the entire soundtrack back on every time I cut any part of the video. With well over 1000 cuts in this one, it was taking a while, like I wrote in response to the first person, it took me about two minutes to edit just about every second of video in this.

I'm glad you liked the finished product. If you look at one of your lines during your scene, you can see that it changes without a new line coming up. Another mistake in editing, on my part.

I'm glad somebody liked it, because after having to listen to it about a billion times, I don't think I'll ever want to go on that ride again.

With the Animal Crossing thing, something had to be done to revive my character from certain doom, and explain the entire ghostly outfit.

I wasn't sure if anybody would really get why I was doing anything with Animal Crossing in this episode. I'm sure VioletSkye would have an idea of what it was about, but since it deals with hacking, I really can't discuss much of it. The gist is, the way to do some homebrewed applications and load them up onto your gamecube from your computer is through an Animal Crossing screen/program. That gave me a good place to start in what I had to do with that scene.

That's incredibly off topic.

I would like to give a big thanks to the people who were playing the characters that appeared in this episode. It meant a great deal to me that you were making yourselves available for this, and going out on a limb when I assured you that the stupid lines would all come together well in the end. Also, I'd like to thank Dark Shadow, Photon Drop, Tycho, and Tingle for allowing me to use their pictures in this. I would have used my own, but honestly, putting yourself on camera in your own productions doesn't do much besides alienate part of your audience, and detract from the main issue, a video game. It is in this that I feel the Phantasy Star Monthly, which has really only seen a few updates in the past three or four months, yet somehow got a stickied topic, while my own works here, which were refreshed a few times every month, were completely ignored, got off track. The information he gives is good, however, without that sense of anonymity, he has lost part of his audience. This is by no means an insult to him at all. He has good footage of the games, and that is really what the viewers are interested in seeing, as I have tried to do with my own productions, most of which haven't been very good at all. I have mostly attempted to make my movies somewhat enjoyable to watch. Whether or not this has been acheived is not for me to say. I can take some hints from a few of the things that have been posted here in relation to them, as well as some of the comments I have received online, and announce they were and still are, a complete failure. But, with the last few, there have been mostly compliments, and they all do mean a lot to me.

I would also like to thank Blitzd for allowing me to use his web space, and also for appearing in episode 7. But he never comes to this site, so this was pointless for me to write.

And lastly, I'd like to thank some of the people that were willing, but didn't make it into the final cut of this, or any, episode. Your willingness to appear on camera under my direction is appreciated, really. Thinking that I may have gotten most of the currently active PSO GC community into this single episode though, I'm not sure who all should be mentioned here. Auracom, for certain, as he expressed interest once or maybe twice. Whoever that Luigi guy is that follows me around, I know he has been willing also, and I think he was actually in a short scene in like episode five or something. Sef, who no longer plays online, showed interest, and that was very nice of him. There are others that I'm missing, but I can't really think of them off the top of my head, or the corner of my head, for that matter, so I'll let it drop.
