When I first viewed the footage of the planes careening into the Twin towers, my life, just like those pillars of capitalism, shattered before my eyes.

Oh, how I yearned for a return to normalcy (Thanks Eisenhower)! Never again would I savor my Starbucks coffee, pollute the environment with the same zeal, or throw small children off bridges with the same proclivity!

Woe upon those that deter us from our own self destructive means!
