u know, i've always wondered what exactly it means. but my best guess, a clean and less offesive way to call someone a bastard.

It came from f***tards who were being punished for there race (you know... being f***tards and all). They were mostly smacked, so when they overthrew the government of ... the unknown people that were smacking them... they liberated themselves and changed their names to smacktards!...

Or it's just a thing that some drunk/high person thought of that became popular (as most things)
