I've read that people use these with their gamecube; I would like to know how! I am not interested in duping, rather so I can transfer snapshots to a PC (I am on dial-up, and cant link to the PC). Thanks.

Well there isn't anything really you need to know, other than to stick the USB card in the memory card slot LOL. The USB card they are talking about is specially made for the GC and works just like a regular memory card. One end you slide into the memory slot and the other end has a small port for a USB cable. It comes with software thats used to transfer files back and forth. As you mentioned, its a great way to transfer the snapshot file to your pc and then convert it with PSO Proxy.

Thanks, I went looking for a card and never found anything remotely compatible, so I assumed that there must be some kind of adaptor. OK, thanks for the info.

USB Card (http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-26-70-1yg.html)
MAX Drive Pro (http://us.codejunkies.com/shop/product.asp?c=US&cr=USD&cs=$&r=0&l=1&ProdID=297)
I think Gameshark has one also but good luck finding it on their site.

Notices skin beginning to turn green, and trousers becoming too tight at mention of Game Shark!!! Nice links, VioletSkye, thanks again.

I'm thinking of ordering one of these because I pretty much have the same problem. Does anyone have any recommendations for them though?

I think I trust the first one a little more, plus it has a testimonial from a user. The reason I'm a little iffy about the second one is because it says the disk boots in the game cube. I guess it's more for editing files and hacks and stuff, but I don't really need it for that.

The main thing I want this for is snap shots, so is the first link the better to choose?

It doesn't matter. Either card will work just fine for what want to do. I ordered the USB card from play asia last year and its worked great, but you have to take into account that it was the only USB card at the time so I had no choice but to import.

Okay, I just got the card from play asia in the mail today. It works great and I'm able to save my files onto my PC, however, what's the next step for getting the snap shot files into the proper format.

No programs will read the snapshot files...well...because they're gamecube save files obviously. So what's the next step I need to take.

I'm trying to research other threads here on PSO world, but any other help will be greatly appreciated too ^_^

Thanks!
