Alright, I see you're new to PSOW.

First off, welcome, but talking about this is against the Forum Rules (http://www.pso-world.com/faq.php?myfaq=yes&id_cat=9&categories=Forum). The purpose of the Cheat Forum is to discuss the cheating and hacking going on in PSO, not to post ideas or methoods of cheating.

Thought I might but in to let him know that its not possible either way. I think there was a thread here...or on a different board saying that Sonic Team made it so that the game reads character data in a certain way, and if you try transfering it from one comp to another (like what I think your suggesting) it'll change the data, making the end result be a corupted character on your memory card.

EDIT: Is what Im saying considered to be "against the rules". If so, Ill edit it to just the simple "It wouldnt work anyway..."

That's actually have to do with XBOX's security system, IIRC. Essentially, all unmodded XBOX's can only run signed (verified) code, and that gets inherited from the program. So if the game generates a save game on a HD or a memory card, it should be verified as well. If you alter the data in any way (the game or the save game for example), the item modified in question is no longer signed and thus can not run on unmodded XBOX. Or at least, that's my understanding of it.

I read elsewhere it supposedly works, but with several caveats, including the eventual corruption of the original data, so its something to stay away from.

I hate action replay...I got one as a gift and the damn thing didn't even work.

For the better I guess. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

Anyway, yeah try not to discuss ways to cheat...as it will ensure an insta-ban. >_<

...Why did you need to post this two times in two diffrent threads when a mod can lock it and warn him w/o needing advice? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_nono.gif

Pffft.... I've got an Action Replay for my X-Box, and I've never actually used it. I've TRIED to use it, but I'm guessing its something to do with signed data as someone said earlier.... cos I tried getting savegames for one of my other games and they simply wouldn't read.

1) A non mod can't give warnings. All the people you see doing that are actual mods from other parts of the psow forums.

2) What you're trying to pull can only really be effective when posted by the author of the thread.

3) Like said, it's just not possible. It could be "usefull", but it'd be cheating anyway.

4) Read the forum rules and please try not to make another topic of this nature. As lolli puts it. Posting cheatcodes and methods=instant ban.
