Hello, i'm trying to make sure i get a certain photon blast for a new mag im making, but there are two different outcomes for each attribute you can level it up in, is there a way to insure you get the one you want? or is it just random? Thanks

I think the two different outcomes you're talking about are the Sec ID's. If your character is part of a certain set of five Sec ID's, your mag will evolve differently than if your character was part of the other group of five Sec ID's.

Nope, I know there are two collumns for the two groups of IDs, but there are also other outcomes within the same group

ID and Class/Job.

Check the guides. There are dozens specifically about Mags, and Mag raising.
