Who else is wanting to play this game? It's been out here in japan for quite a while, but I have to wait till I get home to try it. it looks so fun.

I agree, Geno is my all time favorite name and one of my top favorite characters.

Paper Mario was kept more of the Mario tradition though... seeing Square had nothing to do with it.
But I like Square as well.

I loathed the first Paper Mario. The one partner system and button mash dependant moves just didn't turn my clicker. The story sucked too, but that was to be expected.

Hope the new one is better...

Super Mario RPG was really fun, but I haven't tried Paper Mario. They sound kinda fun, I guess.

Yeah, maybe this one won't make babies cry and eyes bleed like the first one did.

But in all seriousness, I didn't find Paper Mario to be any fun. It was kind of nifty for a little while. The only thing I found somewhat amusing was the Koopa Troopa bunch that looked like a big gang of TMNT, kind of.

Super Mario RPG was a great game, I just wish Bowser had more of a point in it. I mean, I love the guy and everything but after Mario got the Lazy Shell, Bowser was second best at attack and everything. :/

Oh, and who else tossed the Frying Pan thinking "What the hell would I do with a frying pan?" :/

Yeah I know, I figured that out after I threw it out. I didn't think it would have been an equippable item since it was a frying pan. But I was wrong, isn't that her ultimate weapon or something? :/

The funny thing is that I've just started playing the original Paper Mario again, and now somebody's bumped this topic.

It's really a fun game, and I'm hoping to beat it before long.

I got to try a little demo of this game at EB Games. (Broken controller and everything http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif )

Much to the worlds suprise its got the same get up as the original, Hold Back to use hammer, Hit A again blah blah.

And the two allies i seen (Female Goomba and a Blowing Boo). The Boo has a neat attack, but The Female Goomba = Goombario with hair it seems. :

One postive thing i like about this is the audience, and the random tossing garbage at you for -1 HP or giving you star points... http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_confused.gif

Also the fact your allies have HP this time!!! So they dont go all >Cant attack for 4 turns< crap, it was great for Bowser when he does like a 20 hit attack >.>

I might rent it, but i don't think i'll down right purchase it just yet..
