PSOBB: Section ID calculator

Anyone has ideas about calculating Section ID in PSOBB? The routine is different from the usual one (I assume 'cause of the introduction of Japanese characters). For instance, I created a character who should be Bluefull according to DC/GC algorythm, instead I got Pinkal.

your guess is right, bb has a new id system
you can use http://psotools.com/index.en.shtml
to calculate for bb id name

I beleive the only thing the BB calculator calculates is the last letter (Character) in your name, and your character class.

That was the original system. They've changed it since then.

Luckily, they don't recalculate IDs for characters that were made before they changed the system. For instance, Eihwaz now gives Yellowboze, so anyone who sees my FOnewm will think I hack. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

No, anyone who sees your ID will merely note that you're a Yellowboze. XP

Only way anyone is going to notice is name duplications. >P Like if someone else made an Eihwaz today, and then saw you, and didn't know about the calculation change.

Nobody is THAT bizzare to calculate people's section IDs when they're right there on their chests. XP
