i have recently got a broadband adapter and i tryin 2 use it through my computers internet sharing for windows98 can any1 1 tell me how to set it up so tht i can get it so tht theadapter reconise my internet

If you are using ICs, you need a crossover cable. Odds are you are using a straight cable.
