When does this game take place?

I've forgotten, and I don't have the disk with me. Does the game ever give the year of when it happens? I could swear it mentions it in the introduction, but my memory's been known to be wrong (I think; I'll have to go check). Can anyone help?

All I know is that it took place 21 years later after episode 2. I think that it took place somewhere past the year 3000 I believe. I'll check and give you the year tomarrow if I find it.

21 years after the defeat of Dark Falz, so 20 years and 4-6 months after Episode 2. (Episode 2 happens 6-8 months after Episode 1)

Although Blue Star Memories can be confusing... that happens 10 years after the defeat of Dark Falz.
