halogen


electric current returning
alternating to no end
life has burned out so long ago
traded in their souls for a softer glo

and said...

oh! how great!
to be awake!
i was living half a life
for god's sake!

your first mistake, was falling in love
with what only takes
it gets to be too much
when the love of my life
keeps me from closing my eyes

halogen! forever in
this brightened room
is dimmer that you think!

filament! wait a minute!
full moon in my living room,
this town is ghosted,
you showed us
how...

thanks alot guys! well i didnt know that new poems were added to that, i thought people just replied to that (i never actually read i think hee) Laying dorment thing. the turtle part is awesome shadow !! but the two rhymes with cat need some work lol (the cat should be the turtle's friend:))
