With the rising amount of people asking about how to sign up for Blue Burst, and knowing I personally had trouble signing up, I decided to put together a full picture tutorial for registering with Blue Burst. (Yay free time!) I won't cover the IME installation since I can't access my control panal due to computer problems. Arsilan's stick covers that sufficently anyways.

How to Enable a Japanese Browser:

Tools/Internet Options/Options

Goto languages, and select add. Find Japanese under it, and hit ok. Then set japanese as your browser language.

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/Eanae/PSOBB%20Tutorial/ime.jpg

Step One:
Goto http://psobb.jp and click on the top left button on the left hand side of the screen.

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/Eanae/PSOBB%20Tutorial/step1_1.jpg

Step Two:
Continue Clicking on the top left button until you come to this screen:

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/Eanae/PSOBB%20Tutorial/step2_1.jpg

Click on the button to come to this screen:

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/Eanae/PSOBB%20Tutorial/step2_2.jpg

Step Three:
Click on the left button below the terms of service.

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/Eanae/PSOBB%20Tutorial/step3_1.jpg

Step Four:
At this screen, type your e-mail twice, and wait for a confirmation e-mail from Sonic Team. *Note* You can only register one account per e-mail address.

Step Five:
Copy and paste the url into the browser to start the registration.

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/Eanae/PSOBB%20Tutorial/step5_1.jpg

Step Six:
The top two boxes are asking for your last and first name in full-width katakana. Change your type to full width katakana by clicking on the A, and moving to full width katakana. Click the kana button then to start typing, and type your last, and then first name.

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/Eanae/PSOBB%20Tutorial/step6_2.jpg

Step Seven:
Still in katakana type, type a few characters in the next few boxes.

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/Eanae/PSOBB%20Tutorial/step7_1.jpg

Step Eight:
The address part is easy. Just copy, and paste their example address into the box.

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/Eanae/PSOBB%20Tutorial/step8_1.jpg

Step Nine:
Insert the following numbers into the following lines (in english):

Line Three: 144-8531
Line Five: 0570-057-060

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/Eanae/PSOBB%20Tutorial/step9_1.jpg

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/Eanae/PSOBB%20Tutorial/step9_2.jpg

Step Ten:
Set your birthday. *Note* You must set it to over 18 years of age. The format is: Year / Month / date and should look something like: 1980 / 06 / 14

Step Eleven:
Set your sex. The first radio button (the one farthest left) is male, the second female.

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/Eanae/PSOBB%20Tutorial/step12_1.jpg

Step Twelve:
Insert three names for an account that are between 6 and 8 characters long. *Note* All three names must be free to be able to pass. (They can be in English)

Step Thirteen:
Click on the confirm button. (The one closest left)

Step Fourteen:
Review your info. If it is correct, click on the left button. (Confirm)

Step Fifteen:
Wait for an e-mail from sonic team that holds both your account info, and your password. Your username and password should be the only english characters in the e-mail. Be sure to remove the J before them. Example:

JEanae = Eanae
J4gh76 = 4gh76

Step Sixteen:
Make sure that japanese is set to your default language, (Change in control panal) and start up Blue Burst. You're now ready to go!

I wish I had red x's to help me when I registering. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

There must be something wrong with my browser since everyone else can see them. Good job though, I'm sure everyone else will find this very useful. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Its most likely just a bandwidth issue. Earlier today they were red x's for me also, but they are showing up now, so I doubt it's your browser.

Time, effort, and 9.50(I think) a month.=D

That is, if you download it. I do not know how much the game with the CD costs.

No cost to subscribe or download. The game is free. All you need to do is make an account, start playing, and pay on the first of every month for a HL if you sign up for one.

My server is down for a while, so images are gone for now. It'll be back up when I get my computer straightened out from it's crash.

Oy.. I'll be waiting for the images. In the PSOW forums this guide seems to be the easiest to follow so far... I just need the images, though.

I'll run it for now then. It just won't be up 24/7. Only when I can watch it.

Stuck on step four.

My e-mail that they sent me has a ton of URLs in it. Which one do I use: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v98/motorola/PSOBB.jpg

I'm trying to update the picture links, but PSOW isn't saving my edits for some reason. I'll try again later. I'm sorry about the downtime for all the people have PM'd me in need for these.

i got through all the registration and I already have BB installed... but when I run it and go to the 'ID' option, there's clearly spaces in which to put my ID and password... but I cant type in them. I can select them and a cursor appears, but I can't write anything.

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong... I'm tried every imaginable setting with Japanese as my system language...

Images fixed. 90% uptime. If they're down, check back later.

I don't know what else it could be then. If your computer is set to Japanese as the default language, it should work.

1) just use IE

2) did you enable the language bar?

3) Yes. Only credit card.

I've hit a problem. I signed up for PSO BB and everything, but the emails I get from Sega are NOT showing in Japanese. Just a bunch of random english characters. I have installed the language pack and enabled it in IE, not to mention have the tools for writing in it. Becuase of this, I am unable to see where the password is. Thiss has pissed me off big time. It's happened in Outlook, Hotmail and Yahoo.
It's odd and annoying. I can see the japanese on websites and most other places - but in emails it just wont show up as japanese.

Added a new picture for the control panal language setup.

Sorry, but unfortunatly I don't know. Maybe try opening it on a friends computer?
