connection problems with two nic cards.

i had my gamecube connected to one of my nic card on my computer and have another nic card connected to my dsl modem i got from verizon. i first had this set up for warppipe but with some work i've been abile to connect to the online world of pso. but a few days ago it stop working. i can get online with a direct connection to my dsl modem but i want to get my two nic card set up back working. can anyone help me out with this?

i'm not using a router, i'm using a 2 nic card set up. i have my gamecube connected to one of them through a crossover cable and the other one to my dsl modem. as for the errors, i'm either not connecting to the dns server or i get a error number 15. ever since this stared a few days ago i've been force to connect my cube directly to my dsl modem.
