Hello everyone.http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif. I have a question. I use to have dial up and used a modem adapter but now our internet connection is Bellsouth DSL ultra. I'm sure this is a dumb question, but, is having Bellsouth DSL ultra still going to allow me to play P.S.O. online? Also, if so, is there anything I need to consider when I change the info for playing online?

What your going to need to connect to broadband is a Broadband adaptor to replace the dial up modem in your cube.
the modem adaptor requires a phone line.
the Broadband Adaptor (BBA) requires an ethernet conection

If your ISP is suplying your modem, then idealy you need an ethernet modem, however they will probably send you a USB modem.
all is not lost if you get a USb modem, as you can use internet conection sharing on your p.c and conect your gamecube BBA to a network card/socket on your p.c, although you will need a crossover cable to go between the BBa and your p.c

If your suplying your own modem, get a DSL router with a built in modem, this is the best and easiest option ( just dont mess around with the routers default settings too much)

if you get a broadband modem with an ethernet output, use this on your p.c and swap the wire form your p.c to the wire from your gamecube when you connect.

As for the gamecube just put the BBa in, set everything to automatic on the PSO network set up menus, grab a few cans of beer, and play PSO.
