PSOBB: Spread Needle = x Photon Drops

Where x is the number of photon drops a spread needle can be traded for.

So how many photon drops can I exchange my spread needle for?

More so.. I was going through ultimate ruins when I was lucky enough to get the Dark Bringer Ruins 3 spawn variation. Somewhat past the middle of Ruins 3, a Dark Bringer spawned and dropped a spread needle, tekked up to 0/25/25/0/20. Then after tekking I found another spread needle.

30-35 PDs is the going rate.

I got mine for 40 with 0/25/0/0/0 on it, so depending on percents is what you should really trade it for.

Well a FS isn't worth a spread. I don't really need it anyways. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif But tonight possibly if I get the motivation, and if I don't help Ian level, I'll go back to Forest of Sorrow runs for one. 15-20 PD's is what it would go for. 20 if it ends up being my +9 one, since I personally traded 9 PD's for it. (Obviously if the one I found has %, it's mine.)

Spread Needle can be replaced by several weapons, Frozen Shooter is irreplaceable.

No. I'm saying that if someone traded FS for spread, the guy who owned the spread got jacked. In terms of PD value anyways. PD's are rare on BB, and have become a sort of currency. >_>

PDs aren't any rarer on BB than they are on GC. 9_9 I don't know WHAT the fuck is up with the Japanese. I guess they were really bored. XP

Well, while they're busy getting Demonic Forks from Seat of the Heart, I guess they've also had time to find MKBs, Fatsias, 50% Hit Wands, Invisible Guards, earn a dozen S-ranks and find six billion Amplifiers and unslotted rare armors they plan to SPEND all these PDs on getting the stuff for when Gallon's Shop comes out. XP

I mean bloody hell, by the time you FIND, say, 15 PDs for a God/Battle, if you've a REDRIA you could find the bleeding God/Battle twice over. Plus half the PDs for buying one. Or what is it, 40 PDs for a Soul Banish? WTF, that's not even a hard drop. O_o; Granted, East and West Tower aren't out yet, nor PW3, but sheesh. It's slightly boggling to the mind. Granted, you ARE limited to four IDs. I suppose if there's a singular must-have item that you don't want to waste an ID on... Or for that matter if it's something your ID gets that's a pain in the ass to come across.

But seriously. I never found many PDs on the way to Ult with any of my chars on GC. It was only after I got to Ult that I really started finding them, and then I found them at about the rate I've been finding them. >_>; They aren't 'rare' on BB anymore than they're 'rare' on GC/Xbox.

I'd say that the Needle is worth more than a Frozen Shooter because I can pipe a Shooter in half an hour but in the 200+ Ruins runs it took to totally clean out Greenill Ruins, I only found 3 Needles.

yeah im having a hell of a time finding a needle (Greenill). Ive done about 10 EN4s and 10 SmM offline and have not found one yet. Though I have found 5 red scorpios, two belra's arms, red mechs.

Im starting to think DF field or psycho wand might drop before the stupid needle does :0
