It's been ahwile since I've picked up on my PSO but since there's been nothing to do around here, I decided to dust off my GC and start moving and something accoured to me. I play alot of Diablo 2, a computer game and charaters have a "block rate" in which they can block attacks. Does PSO have this ability? If so, so it depend on the sheild and the amout of dex? ty! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

your evade together with the enemy's ata determine if the enemy misses you.

other way around, if you miss.

your def and the enemy's atp determine how much damage you receive.

other way around, how much you serve.

mst and elemental defense work like that too.

luck simply determines your chance on a critical hit.

and this thread shouldn't have been in general.

edit: atP of course

Also note that there is a stat referred to as DEX, but this is on mags, and affects your character's ATA (accuracy), rather than EVP (evasion/block rate).

So there is a stat called DEX, but this only affects your accuracy, not blocking ability.
