Non-Pso Prob, pleas help

How do i make it so that when i'm watching a video in real player or windows media player, or any player for that matter, how do i make it so that the video is bright rather than pitch black.

I have a video with some darkness in it, and when parts that are dark come along, barely anything can be seen.

Even the light parts are dark.


Any help?

Turn up the brightness on your monitor itself?

there is generally a brightness setting within the media player itself as well.
