Racast and slimes...

I tried searching this up before i posted, because I remember someone posted this a long time ago. I still couldnt find it. My question is this, how can you split slimes with a RAcast? I believe someone said try using an untekked rares special.. is that right? thanks for the help

Yes, use some untekked rares special in a combo twice than a normal attack, since it will always miss on special attacks the normal attack(If it hits) will split the slime

You could also use 2 blank shots (using the r button and an attack and then switching over) and then a normal shot which will also split them.... though, if I remeber correctly, dealing dmg to them hinders your chance at a rare slime.

An s-rank weapon with a special that does no damage like zalure can split them or better yet try a charge weapon using the special twice than a light hit with no meseta - works pretty well for my Racast and at lvl 198 there's not much damage those nasty slimes can do back.

Just got back on after being away for several months and have been having a blast doing the TTF2 "Respective Tomorrow" or whatever it's called on xbox. Lobbies are quite a bit less crowded, although your usual crowd of trash talking noobs are hanging out in the lobbies.

Many of the guys I used to play with have been dropping back in which is fun. It's pretty cool to take on a tough quest with four guys (or girls) averaging level 195 or so. Hard to pick up a challenge mode game though.

For some reason, I'm seeing a crapton of rares dropping - more than I can remember. I'm picking up rares I've searched forever for like they are candy. I've also seen more Hildetorrs, Mils, and Santa Rappies than I can recall seeing before.

Maybe xbox is increasing the drop rate to keep us old buggers around a little bit longer.

So, have fun splitting those slimes 'cause Santa Claus is in town!

thanks sitka, i remember that pso-x lobby picture u posted a long time ago http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif As for the rare situation, i couldnt agree aymore.. These past 2 days ive seen at least 4-5 red boxes dropping in a run.. I got 2 electro frames in 2 days and a God Hp yesterday... Sigh.. why cant my yas9k or 7k drop?
