I cant believe it!

I was sitting at a swap meet (its an electronic flea market per say) and I was tryin to sell my PS2 and GCN. Finally, 10min before it was time to leave and I had given up hope, someone came up and gave me $330 for both systems!

That along with the $75 I had gave me enough to go pick it up!

I drove to the nearest Apple Store, and I walked in. It's the best store ever, period. Even you PC junkies must admin, Mac's look great, and a store FILLED with nothing but Macs just looks futuristic and cool.

I walked in and went right to the 40GB iPod's and I picked it up, in awe. I couldnt believe I was holding in my hand the best MP3 player to ever be released. I paid for it and walked out.

I went home, and right now as I type its charging. I cant believe I got one, and I'm sure i'll be having alot of fun with this little gadget http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

I'm happy with my Minidisk player, because I like little things cluttering my floor. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

How much music do you have? The 20 GB is more than enough for me.

I got 5GB so far, and it rapidly grows via CD's and iTunes Music Store.

Argh, I hate you.

I'm gonna patiently wait until they have the sense to bring out a really cool looking purple iPod. *waits*

They only come in six colors. Orange not being one of those colors. Though, you can get colored little sticky things that make them look special.

All the colors the mini comes in suck. >.<

...Besides, for a hundred bucks more than a 40GB iPod, I could BUY AN ACTUAL MAC. :D And since the computer in this house that I actually OWN is an 8-year-old Compaq POS... n.n

It's so tempting to get a Mac with a machine like that. I mean, I've really got no need for it, but depending on where I work this summer, I'll probably have the cash for it... and they say Mac's are great for art stuff!

But then again, I'm perfectly happy with my Dell.

Either way, I think the Mac Mini is a pretty cool concept.

Eh it has a slow processor, a small hard drive, a crappy video card, can't upgrade it, etc. It's designed for people who just browse the internet or check e mail. It doesn't have the specs to be able to do much else.

I understand that, and to be fair, most Macs aren't too keen on the upgrading.

But it's just so tiny and cool!

I dont own a Mac, but I do really like my Mac's. I've used all the OS's from 7.1 up and there very stable and nice machines.

Just dont get one if your a gamer.

I plan on building a new PC soon, but when I get a laptop it'll defently be a Powerbook in some way/shape/form.

Darn, if that thing wasn't that expencive, I'd have one. It does look all so cool and stuff ... (like all the apple related things)

O well, instead I got a 512 mb mp3 player for 59$ on Ebay (brand new! from JuiceKissDigital *coughshamelesspromotion*cough). I have yet to fill it up and I know I'll run out of battery before going trough the entire 480 mb of music I have XD (8 hours capacity for 1 AAA battery)

But yeah ... an Ipod is so sexier then my thing <_<

Congrats on the purchase. I hope you are enjoying IPod.

I bought one myself for Christmas. I'm not a big listner of music but I just couldn't resist buying one for myself. It's nice to have all your music with you while you are on the go. No more walking around town with a backback full off music CD's for me anymore.

I must say, Ipods are so much better than say, a Dell's mp3 player. The layout and the memory capacity makes Ipod look cool. I really never cared for Macs so much, but I find myself realizing how better Apple is getting with their products.

Personally i wish mac hadnt made the black and red ipod a U2 one, i hate U2..
Though white is cool http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

How did you receive THAT much when a new PS2 and GC together should be $250 + tax?
You probably gave away a lot of games too then?

I don't think I would have traded that much just for an iPod. Just me though.

A flash drive audio player is enough for me. I don't have anywhere near 20 GB, or even 5GB!, of music.

i got an iPod too. only thats it was used. 3rd Generation because I can't stand the click-wheel. and 15GB because i highly doubt i'll be able to use up anymore, but i need more than 4GB. i just need a new battery, which costs $100, but i'm not sure if it's still under warranty. anyways, $330 for the two systems? not bad at all...
