"A pair of soldiers who wear this ring will be blessed with a mysertious power."

There are 8 different descriptions available (that I know of) that can be assigned to rings, one description is the DC type description saying there are 7 colors.

That leaves us with 7 descriptions/boosts for GC:
Defense - DFP (Purple)
Evasion - EVP (White)
Fortune - Meseta? (Yellow)
Accuracy - ATA (Green)
Strength - ATP
Focus - MST (Blue)
Mystery - PB Create

I've labeled the released rings. Does this mean there is an unfinished version of Red Ring?

I thought White Ring increased Attack Speed Like a God/Battle unit.

No, it's EVP. The description says Faster Speed, or something along those lines, and is taken too literal (like the Sealed-J Sword description [techniques]).

EDIT: I just tested the mystery description. It fills up your PB bar as you stand close to another Mystery Ring user. The only questions now are which description (ATP/PB) is the Black ring, and what ring the leftover description is for.

No there is not a second Red Ring, this has been stated before too

Red Ring = Lame Ring with no changes what so ever in GC/XB

Hence why I said "unfinished"

There are clearly 7 GC-esque descriptions (Pair of Hunters..etc), with only 6 Ring models.

maybe someone who has access to a full set of all the rings, like VS, can tell ya all about them?

Skorpius

I have access to all rings, at least the ones whose hex is known. Someone with further knowledge into what hex is available could shed some light on this, yes.

Fortune, Meseta.

There's still one left over description, but I guess no one cares/knows.

Isn't strength black?

Have you tested it out and made sure it was meseta? I was pretty sure it was Luck also. I have never actually worn one though so I am probably wrong.

Why are you asking me? >> I'm the one with the questions.

No, I haven't tested yellow out, because it isn't too necessary. That period was supposed to be a question mark.

im not sure if anyone has thought of this... but if anyone has an action replay, they could just bankmod the rings, and settle this discussion once and for all. PM me if you need the meseta amounts for the ring bankmods (this had better not get deleted by the mods for offering cheats, im just trying to help)

Mods don't care if you list hex values of items. The values in and of themselves aren't cheats.

With the Defense Ring, hearts will float around you.
With the Quicker Attacks Ring, sparks will snap on you.
With the Fortune Ring, light sparkles will float around you.
With the Accuracy Ring, feathers will fly out of you.
With the Strength Ring, a red glow will flash around you.
With the Focus Ring, a yellow glow will flash around you.

010254 - Blue Defense Ring
010255 - Blue Quicker Attacks Ring
010256 - Blue Fortune Ring
010257 - Blue Accuracy Ring
010258 - Blue Strengh Ring
010259 - Blue Focus Ring

01025C - Green Defense Ring
01025D - Green Quicker Attacks Ring
01025E - Green Fortune Ring
01025F - Green Accuracy Ring
010260 - Green Strengh Ring
010261 - Green Focus Ring

010264 - Yellow Defense Ring
010265 - Yellow Quicker Attacks Ring
010266 - Yellow Fortune Ring
010267 - Yellow Accuracy Ring
010268 - Yellow Strengh Ring
010269 - Yellow Focus Ring

01026C - Purple Defense Ring
01026D - Purple Quicker Attacks Ring
01026E - Purple Fortune Ring
01026F - Purple Accuracy Ring
010270 - Purple Strengh Ring
010271 - Purple Focus Ring

010274 - White Defense Ring
010275 - White Quicker Attacks Ring
010276 - White Fortune Ring
010277 - White Accuracy Ring
010278 - White Strengh Ring
010279 - White Focus Ring

01027C - Black Defense Ring
01027D - Black Quicker Attacks Ring
01027E - Black Fortune Ring
01027F - Black Accuracy Ring
010280 - Black Strengh Ring
010281 - Black Focus Ring

Credit goes to trepdimeflou for the values.

I have all this information. I have the ability to item mod, and have the values for everything, but there are 7 possible descriptions with only 6 colors.

(NEW) is the PB/Create description.

It seems like everyone is just ignoring the fact that there is a left over description. One that gives the users a "mysterious power" and fills up the PB gauge slowly (assuming Black Ring boosts ATP).

Seems interesting... More fun than regular stat boosts. But Yellow really is luck. +25 for every nearby person with another Yellow Ring.

I wonder what Black Ring has.

to settle this...Black Ring is ATP, i know this because all other versions of the black ring are banned, including that stupid 'mysterious power'
can someone close this thread now?

1. What can anyone do with the item's hex?
2. We already know what the rings do now, this is an old topic.
3. Lock~
