I remember it like it was yesterday. "No," "Maybe," psh. How can you forget about somethin' like figgle?

Why, back in my day, if you forgot somethin' that important you would be chained to a tree and beaten with sticks. That was back before they had laws ag'nst beatin' kids. Yessir back in my day, you made sure you didn't forget nothin'. And we didn't have anythin' to help us neither. No fancy shmancy personal digital whatsawhosits.

You damned kids got it so easy and you don't even know it. All your fancy gadgets. E-mail! Why, back in my day, if you wanted to mail a letter, you had to write your letter by hand, put it in an envelope, put a stamp on it that you paid for (that's right, each and every letter cost you money), get your lazy bones outta your chair and walk it across the street to the mail box. And even if you just sent it across town (and towns weren't very big back then), it probably wouldn't get there for a week! A week, I say! And what's this caller ID nonsense? Why, back in my day, if the damned phone rang, you didn't know who it was. You had to answer it to find out. It mighta been Ed down the street tellin' you he had your 83 cents he borrowed or it coulda been the FBI tellin' you you was a god damned communist! (which wasn't no nice thing to say back then). And another thing. . .
