View Full Version : Convincing Parents to buy import w/ credit card- HELP ME!! p

I am having the hardest time convincing my dad to get it even tho i haveenoguh money my self to get it he wont let me "waist it on another game" what do i do!?! please help with any ideas or is there a site that can help me find import stores near me? I rather drive to one and pick it up myself thanx for anyhelp

Yeah uh what frink said, or you could buy me a HL and then I'll tell you the same thing! =)

Your best bet is to get a friend to do it, just make sure it's a trustworthy friend or you will get a big fat "I told you so!" from your parents hehe.

I'd advise against an Import, it's less hassle to wait for the proper version to come out.

Get one of those online credit cards and use those they might work or atleast i hear they work

How about you do what your dad tells you and not buy PSO. It's a crappy excuse for a game anyways.

well, if you are going to import it, you are probably going to get it from ncsx.com. So why don't you just send them a money order? They cost like $.80. I don't think there is a way to convince your dad to spend $150 on one video game.

muahaah im the only child so i love my parents...lol..like when they said i couldnt buy a ps2 with my money...then the next week i see it in my room....with 300 bucks left in my pocket...muahahaha

yep im a bit spoiled.....and if thats not enough...*since i have the n64 and DC before th ps2* my parents were like "this is your last system..we dont care if you have your own money" lol and now i hae the xbox GC and GBA...LOL and they bought me the GBA....they put half in for the xbox....and they bought me the game controller and memory card for the gc...lol man i love then.. *goes down to give them hugs...nobody home...oh well*

Man your a lucky guy. That's cool that you own all three of the new systems. I was lucky just to get my Playstation 2.

my ps2 is boring...i dont like any of the games. anyway i have 3 brothers so if we DO get a system its for the whole godam family... so i cant play much. my grandma bought the familys DC, my parents bought the PS2 and i bought the gamecube and n64 and gameboy....
