Back in the 'ol days...

... it would be something to find any form of Agito

... The most badass thing you'd be able to see was a RAcast with a ChainsawD

... no one knew how to get an Orotiagito

...you were lucky to have more than 15 free spaces in your bank.

...you could have max stats by level 140

...Sinow Red Shifta/Deband posed a problem

...you were lucky to do more than 10 damage in Ultimate Ruins with techniques

...SRank Needle + HUcast + FO = Mass Death

...you could actually find decent rares from boxes

... mechguns actually had a purpose.

... you could actually buy rares when you are ready.

... and challenge was the main purpose, as crying in a pool of no hope slayed all over the Offliners... http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

...PKing was on a rampage

...Spread Needles were a status symbol

...making badass emoticons proved you were hardcore

...You bought extra memory cards just to make new PSO characters

...You knew to stay out of oberon

..."Puck9" was your after-school gathering spot

Really? In Version 1 Double Saber goes up to +99? In Ver2 it only goes to +20 :S.

Uh,

I must have been there that day. Cause I do remember seing that ... or was it just on the US ships in the last days of the servers, when people got bored of everything and didn't know the cruel fate that awaited them?

...

... nearly everyone had an Imperial Pick, yet it was still a badass weapon.

... a HUcast with S-rank Mechguns was really something (I think of Crushinator here, ah, old friend)

...You could start with a Level 1 character, ask around, and whip Dark Falz at Level 1 with your new hacked mag and either Lavis Cannon or Spread Needle.

...Spread Needle was worth something.

...Soul Eater was actually a good rare to obtain.

...Lavis Cannon didn't hurt.

...People laughed at the thought of an ice dragon.

...Nobody knew where ST got the names of their servers.

...Reaching Level 40 online before being NOLed gave you a sense of accomplishment.

You can still do that on every incarnation of pso (well, not pso:bb)...

You could rotate your character's image after beating the game online. (Don't know if they kept that on GC, but it's not on the xbox at least).

Hmmm sounds like pso on dc was one heck of a game http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif . I sort of wish I was playing pso from start(even though some of those cheats would have made me scared to play online,...NOL). Despite some of the madness that occured in pso dc, it seems liked most of you enjoyed it.

Does anyone else remember when ST tried to stop people from using hacked items like lvl 999 Mags and God/HP++?

If you had them on you character you couldnt get into a room. And I think I remember that if you kept them in your bank, as soon as you took them out you were kicked offline
If only they did that with hacked items now.
