My HUmar is now level 110, and I was wondering if I could get some tips for getting his level up higher quick. I've gotten into the ultimate Mines, but I have trouble when I play anything past the ultimate Forest. And playing the forest over and over takes too long.

well, you can always find beter armor(i mean hunt for it) and better weps tht can bring you through mines and caves in ultimate...that is if your offline only...but if you play online...play quests like TTF with a 4 person group or phantasmal world quests with a group of 4. you can level relatively quick for a while doing those if your only 110...but again, if your an offline only...look into a rare drop chart or something and start hunting for good weps with nice percents and good armor for yourself
PS, the stuff doesnt have to be rare just better off looking for weapons with high percents...but its always nice to hv a good rare armor

something where you can reach a boss early. wash. rinse. repeat.

sorry, from 50-100 its pretty much ult forest you'll want to do, if youre trapped offline. maybe the dragon drops something neat for you *laughs* (ran for dragon claw from 60 to 110 and found it at level 14X...).

next step would be:
Addicting Food - gives 120k each run, takes 40-60 minutes. Also a good way to practice evading Megidballs. d(^_^

I would suggest to do multiple "Fake in Yellow runs" if you are stuck offline. You can get about 11k worth of experience per run and in under 4 minutes if you ignore the Rappies once they are down, only stopping for the rare Pal Rappies to get up if you are lucky enough to find one http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif. You would be surprised how much exp. you can acumalate doing that quest over and over, a bit boring but if your section ID has a good Pal Rappy drop then I would say it is big plus.

It worked for my Fomarl at least, started doing the quest at level 65 looking for an Angel's Harp, and finally found the darn thing at level 110, after 200+ runs. 45 levels gained in about 15 hours or so. Or about if you rather look at this way 15 runs per hour (if you manage to complete the quest in under 4 minutes), 11k exp x 15 runs = 165k exp per hour. I would say that is a good amount to gain in that time.

Well those are my two cents to this topic. Hope it helps.

Retired Hunter quest; Rico suggested it to me so I could level up one of my guys to Ult Fatsia hunt with him. Don't worry about the timer. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Or, do some Addicting Food like Reno suggested; lots of enemies. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Edit* Just saw you were only in Ult Mines. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif In that case. Forest is your friend. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I started trying the Fake in Yellow way, and it's pretty quick. 11k exp in 5 mins. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif I'm going to level up some more before doing Addicting Food runs, the Caves are quite annoying right now.

And I have actually gone all the way though the Mines, but didn't fight Vol Opt. I didn't have enough time right then, and when my friend and I fought him in multi-mode it took a while. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_dead.gif

Have you tired Jellen/Zaluring things in Caves with your humar? Back in the day, when my 106 humar was doing ult caves; I'd get my ass knocked down by everything. A little jellen, maybe some zalure, and I was the one knocking down ass. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

It sounds lame that a humar should tech, but it works in these situations. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Jellen & Zalure! I knew there was something I was forgetting. I used those alot in the Caves before. But I haven't really played since last summer, and kinda forgot about that. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_dead.gif

I've been messing with my Fomarl (Ceili - Redria) a bit the past few days. Played her to Bu-EI in Challenge Mode, then got a couple of stages in Ep 2. After the FOnewm-FOnewearl-Fomar-Fomarl debate, realized the Fomarl was the only one not over lvl 100.

So, we did some power leveling this morning.

Earlier in the week, we tried taking her through Temple-Flow, three times we finished off Flow and then my machine froze with about 20% of the Dark Flow still left - something wrong with my disc right there for some reason.

So, went back to Forest-Falz.

Normal mode went very easy. Frame, 2 x God HP + 2 x God Ability, Agni, Dagon, Indra, red merge, 185 Panzer Mind mag.

Hard mode also easy, same basic setup + Hildebear Cane.

Very Hard, much more challenging. A lot of doorway sniping. Moved up to Summit Moon, added another God HP for Falz. Leveled to 40 after defeating Falz.

Then the fun began.

Went back to Temple on Ultimate and worked through using Megid as much as possible, sniped with Grants from the doorways. Barba Ray was easy, although I did use several Sol Atomisers.

Spaceship wasn't too bad. Again, lots of doorway sniping, rabarta spamming and piping before EVERY room. Baranz was much easier than I anticipated. God HP's were saving my ass ALL THE TIME. Gol Dragon was a challenge and did drop a few scapes, but on to Gal de Val.

As Kef indicated, Megid worked wonders through the Islands. Continued to spam Rabarta, piped a lot and dropped a few scapes. Mini bosses weren't too bad, then came Gal Gryphon.

He was tough, and so were the sinows - dropped a few scapes, but by 10 am this morning, had Ceili up to lvl 54. Back to Forest-Falz. Make the run through all the boring quests until Retired Hunter opens up.

Now comes the power leveling.

Sit behind Donoph, keep him S&D'd, keep the baddies J&Z'd, appy resta as needed and magic spam room after room. We'll be at 80 within a couple of hours and then.....

online, TTF or RT with lvling buddies. By Monday, Ceili will be zooming through the 100's.

This is one way to get your character into the 100's. After that, play with your friends as much as possible.

There's an old experience trick that had to do with dark falz that worked really well... but i don't kno if i should tell you how to do it cause i don't kno for sure if it's considered cheating or not.. i don't think it is bcause u have to fight falz everytime, u just don't have to go through ruins over and over but just to b on the safe side i'll leave it at that.

Soul of a Blacksmith is a nice quest...it's fast and easy, and gets you a decent amount of exp. That's what I mainly used 'till I hit the high 130's. And maybe if you're lucky, you can get some good Tollaw drops http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I agree with the above dude. I completed all the Hunters Guild Quests and started doing SoaB over and over again which is how I went from level 100-116 really fast. Make take a while, but not really that long when you consider how much experience you getfrom that quest on Ultimate. And yes, that's where I ultimately recieved *Finally* my Agito 1975 (Real) Red Handgun and something else, can't remember. Just look up EXP counts in the guides here and you'll see why we suggest doing this quest over and over again.
