Woah with the Caps Lock there.

Fave film would have to be 'Blade Runner'. Love the atmosphere in the film and some of the hidden meanings and metaphores. I also love that there are so many mistakes in this film and yet people still dont notice them while watching, tis great.

Must get boring in your parents' basement...

Anyways, it's pretty hard to choose a favorite movie...so I'll just list a few that contend.

-Boondock Saints
-BASEketball
-Half Baked
-Tears of the Sun (honestly don't know why I like this more then any other war movie--but if it's on TV, I HAVE to watch it)

Holy crap, that was an awesome movie. I laughed a lot the first time I saw it, and I watch it on DVD every once in a while to this day.

My two favourite movies in a nutshell are Donnie Darko and Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind.

Butterfly effect and The Green Mile (which coincedently I've just finished watching on Channel 4) also float my boat, but not to the extent as the first two.

My fave movies would be (in no particular order)

Monty Python and the Holy Grail
A Clockwork Orange
Full Metal Jacket
Death to Smoochy
Dawn of the Dead (Either version)
The Shawshank Redemption

Only movie on that list that wasn't very innovative or well-liked is Death to Smoochy, which I like because it's so horrible.

You sir, know your movies!

Forgot some others:

- Snatch (can't believe I forgot this)

- Shaun of the Dead (it had its moments--but the end was a little too bummerific for a comedy)

- The Last Samurai (Simply because Ujio owns all you motherfuckers, aside from Samuel L. of course)

- Equilibrium (it's got Sean Bean and it's just overall 1337ness)

- Enemy at the Gates (another great war movie--before every 14 year old girl knew who Jude Law was)

- This is Spinal Tap (OMFG! HOW COULD I FORGET SPINAL TAP? LIKE MY FAVORITIST MOVIE OF EVERS!?)

"It's a bit sexist."

"? What's wrong with being sexy?"

yes, yes i do! and auto so does thou!

Snatch - i'll admit it thought it was going to be pure shite, but i laughed my ass off when i saw this - "what the fuck is that?" "That is a fucking d-o-g"

Shaun of the Dead - now i have 2 disagree, it had a few funny moments, but i really thought this was probably THE single most over-rated movie of last year.

The Last Samurai - Ujio owned all forms of life!

- Equilibrium - dude, some pretty cool gun battles, and a good concept, but i mean come on! like the law enforcers are all gonna wear motorbike helmets!

- Enemy at the Gates - alas, ive not seen this yet (don't hate me!)

- This is Spinal Tap - ya know i thought that was a real documentary until i saw it.

oh and another movie just popped into my noggin! armageddon! only film that can claim to get me all choked up. with the exception of the transformers movie http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_cry.gif - "hey boss i think this is illegal" "Its okay bear, im temporarily insane"

and supertroopers! sweet jesus i laughed my balls off when i first saw that. "license and registration: CHICKEN FUCKER!! BUCKACK!"

PEACE!!!

I don't know if I have a favorite. I love the psychology of The Matrix. My favorite movie character would probably be Jason Bourne, at the moment. Monty Python and the Holy Grail is probably the funniest thing I've ever seen. I still have a lot of movies on my need-to-see list, mostly older ones. My intellectual friends and I talk about this kind of stuff all the time. Right now, I'm sitting next to a friend's copy of Slaughterhouse-Five and a bootleg of the movie Help! (as in the Beatles song). This friend is going to be reading The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy sometime soon. I hope the new movie they're making for that one doesn't completely suck.
