Question about PSO: BB

I would love to play this game on my PC. I think it would look pretty good on uber high settings as you can see by my sig.

1)But, do you have to pay to play the Japanese version?

2)If so, can I use my hunter's license I use for my GC version?

3)When will the American release happen?

4)Will I be able to play on the Japanese servers if I get the American Version?

5)Where can I download PSO:BB? (I'm a little lost on the official webpage)

6)Is it worth getting PSO:BB Japanese version?

7)Is there cheating?(please say no)

Yes, for the Japanese Version.

No. Blue Burst is different than Gamecube.


3)When will the American release happen?

Spring 05.


4)Will I be able to play on the Japanese servers if I get the American Version?

Not for Blue Burst, at least at this time. If they do link servers, it won't be known until later.


5)Where can I download PSO:BB? (I'm a little lost on the official webpage)

Depends. Which client do you want? Japanese or Chinese?


6)Is it worth getting PSO:BB Japanese version?

If you can wait for the US version, then wait for it. If not, then go for it.


7)Is there cheating?(please say no)

Not really, Sega patched most of it, and GMs are on 24/7.


8)Is the interface for the Japanese version totallly in Japanese and if so how do ya'll play the game?

Yes, and most of it is trial and error and experience from earlier PSO games.

I'm sorry I guess it's the Chinese beta everyone is talking about and playing?

The Chinese Beta of PSOBB is free, but we don't know how long it will last. You can find informaton on registering, playing, identifying items, etc. in this thread:

If you just want to test the waters a bit to see if you'd like PSOBB, this is a good way to do it. However, keep in mind that the servers are in China and appear to be severely overcrowded http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif The English release of PSOBB should be nowhere near as laggy.
