Powerleveling an Alt character will be alot easier with the new split Screen. You can have a level 1 go into De Rol Le and have another one of your level 200's one shot him for uber EXP for the level 1. anyone see this as a problem?

EDITED for ...for reasons.

If you have two people, powerleveling would be very easy. Take a level 40 character straight to V hard ruins, with a level 100 FO for back up.

The bosses themseleves don't give much exp so just taking a level 1 to del rol wouldn't make a huge difference in exp gain.

You can gain 7 lvls if you take lvl 1 character to Normal Dark Falz and survive.

well if you have a spell casting char you can cast a AOE and then have the higher level wipe them out so you get all the EXP. it will be very easy. im looking forward to it actually.

I think you would need another player present, or you would have to play as both your characters.

You can't just magically warp to del rol, you have to wade through c1~2~3. Long and boring.

Better off just doing R1~2 runs(falz is pretty easy if player2 is absent, you just cast rabarta on the darvants and begin ownage). You'll hit level 20 in no time, Then do it again in Hard, V hard...etc intill you get to ulti.

I'm wondering if Sega has thought that idea out and maybe made it so you can't do that? Who knows. Like in Diablo 2, last I played, if you were in a party and there were people in there 20 levels above or below you, you couldn't gain exp from their kills.

Powerleveling; the reason I have more than one controller, other than for offline muling =^-^=.

itl be great for testing out chars. to see if you really want to level them up after lv 30 or so. i suspect you can hit level 30 with alot of hard powerleveling within 4 or so hours. depending on the powerlevers level and Skills

no wait...you mean there is SOMEONE else with an IQ of 50+ here?...no way!...but anyways...powerleveling kinda takes fun out of the game...the only reason i would do it is if you are sick of waiting around in normal while all your friends are in ultimate...but yeah..back to the IQ thing...is it just me...or do some people's posts not make any sense...or they use things like 'ne hoo' or 'neway'...maybe if i spent time in a chat room for maybe...3 days straight..i could pick up on this new language...oh well..that is my rant for the day! whoo hoo go me

Powerlevling doesnt take the fun out of the game if you have killed boomas 43543546532465 times before....

I prefer to only power level after main character is a pretty high level and the exp gets tougher, around lvl 120+ is a good time for existing characters. Later in the games existance starting new chars will be difficult as more will be playing v hard and ult so the main time i owuld consider power level is to raise new character fast.

And this is ep1&2 game right so no point going to ruins de rol le etc, go to the jungle beach etc fight the gar griffon and the other enemies! more exp would be here.

What makes you think I was refering to you? My point is that you need another player, otherwise it will be cumbersome. It's not hard to understand the concept of powerleveling with two players as you stated in the first topic. I don't think anyone isn't understanding that.

Most i'd do for the other char is give him/her a good mag seeing st dosent put a limit on what kind of mag u can give your chars

most i would do for the other char is give him an UbEr mag, have my high lv force powerlevel him till i was bored, give him all my spare Rares, aaaand give him loads of money. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I made another new character the other day...

A racast called Levenbrech. It was quite nostalgic to play as a Lv1 ponce again...

I think powerlevelling would take a bit of fun away, but I'm all for assisting new chars by giving them high-level weapons or mags. Levelling up mags just gets really boring and a pain in the arse, much simpler if you just give them a ready-made mag from another character. The best part being that higher level characters have more money, so can afford to stuff them full of Trimates and Trifluids so they level up quicker.

Another good thing about the split screen game is that swapping items between your own characters will be much easier! Right now I have to make a game, get a mate, drop item, log-off, log on again when other character loads up and grab item. With split screen it'd just be drop and pick up, piece of piss...
